For the first time in "Project Runway” history, season 16 breaks the conventional modeling mold by incorporating size-inclusive models on the catwalk. As a true reflection of women across America, models range from 0 to 22, and this season’s designers must demonstrate their ability to make stunning creations for any size. Project Runway always has many different creative thoughts running down from a simple theme. It is a heck of a ride from start to finish (using drama and fabrics)
I love how the models range in clothing sizes now.... I hope Ayana wins. I'm not even Muslim, but I love how she designs modest fashionable clothes & the hijab she wears are gorgeous.
Why fix what ain't broke?
This new season is over-the-top in the worst possible way. I absolutely cannot stand the new model interjections and opinions, instead of the actual contestants opinions. Also, while I don't mind the plus-size model addition, it should be fair in the competition. Either one week, you have all one size and the next you have the other. It really is unfortunate to see such an amazing series hit a speedbump unneccessarily.
