In the high-tech gold rush of modern Silicon Valley, the people most qualified to succeed are the least capable of handling success. From HBO and the offbeat mind of Mike Judge ('Office Space,' 'Beavis & Butthead') comes this comedy series that delves into the outrageous world of tech start-ups and the socially awkward underdogs trying to navigate its lucrative potential. In Season 1, the show charts the rising fortunes of Richard, an introverted programmer who lives with his best friend Big Head, pompous Gilfoyle, and sarcastic Dinesh under the roof of self-satisfied dot.com millionaire Erlich who lets them stay for free...as long as he gets a 10% cut of their projects. With his career going nowhere fast, Richard suddenly finds himself in the middle of an extreme bidding war over his website's unique compression algorithm. Thomas Middleditch, Josh Brener, T.J. Miller, Zach Woods, Kumail Nanjiani, Martin Starr, Christopher Evan Welch and Monica Crew head up the cast.

Excellent Show, is iTunes in a time warp when shows are on HBO
iTunes needs to do a better job with HBO shows getting to the store relatively close to when the shows are actually realeased. This is one incredible show that I highly recommend to others, and the price isn't too bad either.
MUST-WATCH New Comedy!
HBO now has two of my favorite comedies: VEEP and Silicon Valley! Like Veep, this show has fast pace and witty humor, and the script just gets better with each episode, building up to a memorable season finale. I have gone back to rewatch the entire season for at least four times now, it still makes me laugh out loud. I highly recommend this show to everyone!
