It's a train ride of laughs in the first season of Silver Spoons, the classic '80s hit sitcom starring 12-year-old Ricky Schroder as the loveable, preppy, wise-beyond-his-years Ricky Stratton. His dad is millionaire Edward Stratton III (Joel Higgins). One day, Ricky shows up at his father's mansion ready to move in after his mother had sent him to military school. Edward is an overgrown kid with more interest in toys than in business or his beautiful assistant (Erin Gray). This season, Ricky realizes that Edward's relaxed attitude toward discipline doesn't mean Edward doesn't love him. Ricky gets his first taste of puppy love and learns to stand up to the school bully. Kate and Edward realize they have feelings for each other. The family lawyer, Leonard (Leonard Lightfoot), helps Ricky defend himself in court in front of a jury filled with other kids. Plus tons of guest stars including Mr. T, Sharon Stone, Joey Lawrence, and Jason Bateman.

It is as cheesy as remembered. Fun all the same.Reminds me of when I was young and how I wanted a Train in my 700sq. foot house.Thats when I learned about being poor, Now I can have a train. Yeah. Good show I recommend.

A true classic comes to i tunes. What about family ties?

Great show!

I used to love this show when I was younger. I just wish "Growing Pains" would come out soon too!
