When death is your business, what is your life? For the Fisher family, the world outside of their family-owned funeral home continues to be at least as challenging as—and far less predictable than—the one inside. From Oscar(R)-winning screenwriter Alan Ball (American Beauty) comes this drama series that takes a darkly comic look at a dysfunctional L.A. family that runs a funeral business. As prodigal elder son Nate Fisher returns home for the holidays to news of his father's death, the family must learn to deal with the death of one of their own—while figuring out how to go ahead with the business of living. What emerges throughout Season One is a quirky, funny, emotional, life-affirming look at the enlightenment of a grieving American family…that happens to be in the grief-management business. Peter Krause, Frances Conroy, Michael C. Hall, Lauren Ambrose and Rachel Griffiths star.

All-Time Favorite TV Show!
So excited to see Six Feet Under Season 1 on iTunes, but Season 1 is only the start of a good thing! Hoping to see additional seasons on here ASAP since I already own Season 1 in a different format.
Rest In Peace
This is a classic American television series. It is a family drama in every aspect, besides the fact that they run a funeral home. The show is all about death, but in turn it is all about life. From the womanizer, to the sexually repressed, to the rebellious teengaer; everyone is here. This is a funny, witty, and enduring show that truly could only have aired on HBO.
It's the truth.
This is the greatest show ever. No contest, no disagreeing. This IS. Better than The Sopranos, more addicting than Weeds and whatever new crop of shows Showtime comes up with (though Dead Like Me ran a close second to this)--this is one of the original premium shows that put HBO on the map, and just cannot be beat, pure and simple. Simply watch the first episode--using words to describe it just put the show into a lesser context. It's the truth.
