Description

Arguably the best season ever, season two of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation continues to push the limits of its creative potential while simultaneously educating the viewing public into the wonders of forensic science. The season premiere (Burked) reminds us of how old Las Vegas used to be. Throughout the season, an abundance of tragic cases unfold including a high-school shooting (Bully For You), an agoraphobic victim (You've Got Male), and evil children (Cats In The Cradle). Brilliant case work is still the foundation of the series and is on full display as the team solves cases involving a deadly bus crash (Chasing The Bus), unconventional therapy methods (Overload) and a hit-and-run death (Anatomy Of A Lye). While most episodes can be enjoyed absent of intricate character details, season two continues to find ways to expand the dramatic arcs of the team. We learn that Brass has a daughter (Ellie), Grissom develops a hearing impairment (The Hunger Artist) and Stokes has a near brush with death (Stalker). Serial killer Paul Milander returns (Identity Crises) and there is also the first episode featuring Lady Heather (Slaves Of Las Vegas). If that's not enough, there's even time to launch the second installment of the franchise (Cross Jurisdictions).
