In the final, explosive tenth season, Smallville culminates with the epic rise of the world's ultimate hero — Superman. Finally working alongside the intrepid Lois Lane (Erica Durance) at the Daily Planet, Clark Kent (Tom Welling) had accepted his destiny as the guardian of Metropolis when General Zod arrived, challenging Clark's authority and power. Just when the romance between Clark and Lois began to bloom, Clark was called into duty by the legendary Justice Society and his own burgeoning league of heroes to fight the gathering dark forces. As season nine drew to a close, Clark sacrificed himself to save the world from Zod. Season ten promises the classic reuniting of the timeless romance between Clark and Lois, and brings Clark face to face with his destiny as he overcomes his final trials and forges the iconic identity that will be known for all time. The superpowered series also stars Justin Hartley as Oliver Queen and Cassidy Freeman as Tess Mercer.

Haven't liked Smallville this much since Season 6
I have been watching since episode 1 all the way up till now and I'll say I lost interest mid way through season 8 and strongly disliked most of 9 as well. This year they seem to be pulling out a trump card so to speak (not gonna spoil it here cuase I know some people haven't watched it yet) but when I found out what they have planned for this finale year all I can think of is how very epic in scope the story is (hopefully) going to be. I subtracted 1 star because they recast Lex and in my opinion Michael Rosenbuam should be the only one to play that role on Smallville especially after doing so for 7 years. If your are a fan of Superman or even just Smallville you need to buy this. They have hit the ground running this year and since it's the last season I want to see them go the distance!
There isn't many show's that leave you breathless and yearning for more. Smallville's seasons 1-9 has kept me on the edge of my seat expecting the unexpected, and giving 110%. Smallville's final season and I couldn't be anymore excited to see what it has instore for us. Smallville has to go down as one of the best sci-fi's ever and probably in general.
I'm so proud to call myself a 10 year fan of a series that has continued to entertain me and take me places that I could never go. This episode was beautiful and moving. This was the first episode that I truly could relate to Clark Kent! Saying good-bye to a parent is heart wrenching and letting go of the past is difficult. It spoke volumes on so many levels. If you aren't a fan of this series, I can GUARANTEE that should you watch this episode you will be. Happy 200th Episode to the cast and crew. Thanks for the memories!
