A father of three from New York juggles family, career and challenges -- including Parkinson's disease.
|1||HDClosed CaptioningVideoPilot||One of NY's most beloved news anchors, Mike Henry (Michael J. Fox, "Spin City", "Family Ties"), put his career on hold to spend more time with his family and focus on his health after he was diagnosed with Parkinson's. But now five years later, with the kids busy growing up and Mike growing restless, it just might be time for him to get back to work. Having never wanted Mike to leave in the first place, his old boss Harris Green (Wendell Pierce, "Treme", "The Wire") jumped at the chance to get him back on TV. The trick, as it's always been, was to make Mike think it was his idea. After several - okay, many - failed attempts, Mike's family, anxious to see him out of the house, finally succeeded in getting him to "run into" Green. Now their plan is in motion. He'll be back to juggling home, family and career, just like the old days - only better.||23:40||$2.99||View in iTunes|

Funny and enjoyable
Michael is a wonderful actor, I'm happy that this show exists. It's a pretty funny show that puts a positive spin on his condition which is nice.
I loved Michael J. Fox but...
…this show just doesn't cut it and I kind of have difficulties to see any funny in someone who suffers from Parkinson. Don't get me wrong, I know what a horrible disease that is and I admire Michael's strong will to fight Parkinson and not give up but this show just doesn't feel right. Every time I see Michael J. Fox, I am reminded of how wonderful he was in the past and how much Parkinson has affected him. It makes me sad and I just loose any mood to watch this show. I am sorry but this is how I feel.
Back to Work
The show is different. It's real. It shows how a family can adapt and not have to completely hit rock bottom for change. It's hope and comedy in between. Thank you Michael for coming back it's been a long time.
