The final season of this successful series starts with Lisa and Oliver taking on a group of city kids and show them what country life is all about. Lisa bonds with a little girl named Lori, making Eb jealous and no longer "one of the family." Oliver and Lisa run against each other in the Hooterville mayoral race, with disastrous (and hilarious) results. Oliver and Lisa switch chores, where she runs the farm and he does housework...unsurprisingly, she's better at it than he is! Eb proposes and keeps trying to get married, but circumstances intervene.
