Description

Having left the safety of being Cat Grant’s assistant at Catco Worldwide Media in order to figure out what she really wants to do, Kara Danvers (Melissa Benoist) continues to work with Hank Henshaw (aka Martian Manhunter) and her adoptive sister Alex (Chyler Leigh) at the DEO as Supergirl – protecting the citizens of National City and searching for her missing father Jeremiah (Dean Cain) and the secret research lab Project Cadmus. Along the way, she will team up with her Kryptonian cousin Kal El – aka Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) – to battle new villains both terrestrial and extraterrestrial, from the DC Universe, as she strives to balance her personal life with friends/allies James Olsen (Mehcad Brooks), Winn Schott (Jeremy Jordan) and more with her busy life as a new Super Hero in SUPERGIRL Season Two.

AWESOME!

Supergirl is amazing and the lead actress Melissa Benoist is fantastic!!!
Can't wait season 2 from October 10!

GOOD SHOW!!

I think the CW must have something in their contract that there always has to be a gay character in the show. I appreciate the desire to be PC and having a lead male or female role be gay but on EVERY CW show now? I don't watch superhero shows or read the comics to know their sexual preference beyond what is gone over in the comics! Otherwise good start to Season 2 for Supergirl!

Almost a family show

I watched season 1 and liked it. Season 2 was different. I enjoyed most of it. The acting was good. I will not give a family oriented show 5 stars because of one major reason. I believe in Christianity. When Supergirl's adoptive sister revealed she was gay, that added content but removed 2 stars from my review.
