Supergirl: The Complete Series

In the series premiere episode, Superman's cousin, Kara Zor-El -- after 12 years of keeping her powers a secret on Earth -- decides to finally embrace her superhuman abilities and become the hero she was always meant to be.

When Kara's attempts to help National City don't go according to plan, she must put aside the doubts that she -- and the city's media -- has about her abilities in order to capture an escapee from the Kryptonian prison, Fort Rozz. Also, Cat pressures James to use his connection to Superman to get her an interview with Supergirl.

Supergirl's powers are tested when Reactron (guest star Chris Browning), one of Superman's formidable enemies, arrives in National City and targets the young hero. Also, Cat plans to run an expose on Supergirl.

Kara's Thanksgiving may be ruined when she suspects her foster mother, Dr. Eliza Danvers (special guest star Helen Slater), who is coming to town, disapproves of her new role as a super hero. Also, when an accident transforms a volatile CatCo employee into the villainous Livewire, she targets Cat Grant and Supergirl. Brit Morgan guest stars as Leslie Willis/Livewire.

Kara's two identities are stretched thin when Supergirl must protect National City from a series of bombings and Kara is tasked with babysitting Cat's son, Carter (guest star Levi Miller). Also, James is conflicted when his ex-girlfriend Lucy Lane (recurring guest star Jenna Dewan Tatum) seeks to rekindle their relationship.

Personal and professional stress get the better of Kara when she goes too far during a training exercise against Red Tornado, a military cyborg commissioned by Lucy Lane's father, General Sam Lane (guest star Glenn Morshower). Also, Cat's tough exterior is shaken by a visit from her judgmental mother, Katherine (guest star Joan Juliet Buck) and Alex enlists Winn to look into her father's mysterious death. Iddo Goldberg guest stars as Red Tornado and its creator, Dr. T.O. Morrow.

Kara and her friends must rely on their inner strength and courage when an earthquake strikes National City. Also, Alex's mistrust of Hank reaches a breaking point when the earthquake traps them in the DEO with Jemm (guest star Charles Halford), a powerful alien escapee.

Kara goes toe-to-toe with Astra (recurring guest star Laura Benanti) when her aunt challenges Kara's beliefs about her mother. Also, Cat is threatened with being removed as the CEO of CatCo after a hacker exposes her private and damaging emails.

With Astra in captivity at the DEO, her husband, Non (recurring guest star Chris Vance), captures Hank, leading to a tense standoff between the two sides. Also, Kara continues to refute Cat's allegations that she is Supergirl.

Kara does her best to support Winn when his father, the supervillain Toyman, breaks out of prison and seeks out his son for unknown reasons. Also, Cat offers Lucy a job at CatCo, and Alex asks Hank to use his powers to help uncover Maxwell Lord's plans. Henry Czerny guest stars as Winslow Schott Sr., aka Toyman.

Kara must help Hank face his painful past when a White Martian -- a member of the alien race that wiped out his people -- kidnaps Senator Miranda Crane (guest star Tawny Cypress), an anti-alien politician. Also, Cat's estranged son, Adam (guest star Blake Jenner), arrives in National City.

Kara faces off against her mirror image when Bizarro (guest star Hope Lauren), a twisted version of Supergirl, sets out to destroy her. Also, Kara grows closer with Cat's son, Adam.

Kara's friends must find a way to save her life when a parasitic alien attaches itself to her and traps her in a dream world where her family is alive and her home planet was never destroyed. Also, Alex, Hank and the DEO must fend off a Kryptonian attack while Kara is out of commission.

Supergirl does battle with the deadly Master Jailer (guest star Jeff Branson), who is hunting and executing escaped Fort Rozz prisoners. Also, Cat hires a second assistant, Siobhan Smythe (recurring guest star Italia Ricci), who immediately tries to one-up Kara. Meanwhile, James and Kara disagree over the DEO's methods.

While James's relationship with Lucy reaches a crossroads, Kara travels to Superman's Fortress of Solitude in hopes of learning how to defeat Indigo (guest star Laura Vandervoort), a dangerous being with a connection to Kara's past, who can transport via the Internet.

After being exposed to Red Kryptonite, making her malicious and dangerous, Kara turns on her friends and the citizens of National City. Also, Cat appears on The Talk to discuss Supergirl.

J'onn J'onzz reveals the details of meeting Kara and Alex's father, Dr. Jeremiah Danvers, and assuming Hank Henshaw's identity. Also, Kara debates trusting someone new with her secret identity, while Siobhan (guest star Italia Ricci) plots against Kara.

Supergirl gains a new ally when the lightning-fast super hero The Flash (guest star Grant Gustin) suddenly crosses over from an alternate universe and offers to help Kara battle Silver Banshee (aka Siobhan) and Livewire in exchange for her help in finding a way to return him home.

Kara must find a way to free her friends when Non and Indigo use mind control to turn National City's citizens into their own army.

In the first season finale, Supergirl faces her greatest test yet when Non and Indigo plan to destroy every person on the planet -- forcing Kara to do battle with an unexpected foe and risk everything -- including her life.

In the season two premiere, a new threat emerges in National City, and Kara teams up with her cousin, Superman to stop it. Although Kara is thrilled to have family in town, it leaves Alex feeling a bit left out. Meanwhile, Hank and Supergirl are stunned by the pod that came crashing to Earth.

When Cadmus attacks National City with a kryptonite-powered villain who ends up seriously hurting Supergirl, Superman blames Hank because the kryptonite was stolen from the DEO. Meanwhile, Kara's first day at her new job doesn't go as she planned after she meets her new boss, Snapper Carr (recurring guest star Ian Gomez).

When an attack is made on the President (guest star Lynda Carter) as hot-button, alien vs. human rights issues heat up in National City, Supergirl and the DEO are assigned to protect the President and bring in the responsible party. While Alex teams up with Detective Maggie Sawyer (Floriana Lima) to investigate the case, Kara searches for a recently escaped Mon-El (new series regular Chris Wood), who she fears may be the alien behind the assault.

When Kara and Alex investigate the murder of an unregistered alien, the trail leads to an alien fight club run by Roulette (guest star Dichen Lachman), the ringmaster who commands aliens to fight in mortal combat for the entertainment of rich humans. While trying to stop the fighting, Supergirl and Martian Manhunter find themselves up against a surprising opponent. Meanwhile, Hank is thrilled to have found another Martian and tries to get to know M'Gann (guest star Sharon Leal) better. Supergirl takes Mon-El under her wing and begins to train him.

Supergirl takes on a ruthless new gang who has been armed with dangerous new alien technology. When Cadmus sends a video to the DEO, the team realizes Cadmus is the one staffing the criminals for a secret mission. Meanwhile, Kara gets Mon-El a job as an intern at CatCo, James makes an important decision, and Lena invites Kara to attend one her fundraisers.

The Guardian debuts to lend a hand after a parasite alien drains Supergirl of her power. Mon-El considers a less-than-desirable new career which then leads him to contemplate his motives. Alex struggles with a new reality.

While Guardian tries to clear his name after being accused of a murder committed by another vigilante, Supergirl heads out on a solo mission to rescue Mon-El, who has been captured by CADMUS. While fighting to free Mon-El, Supergirl comes face to face with Cyborg Superman.

Eliza Danvers (Helen Slater) comes to town to celebrate Thanksgiving with her daughters. Alex decides it's time to come out to her mother; Kara is shocked when Eliza suggests Mon-El has feelings for her, and Winn and James consider telling Kara the truth about the Guardian. Meanwhile, CADMUS unleashes a virus that instantly kills any alien in the vicinity so Kara enlists an unexpected ally -- Lena Luthor (recurring guest star Katie McGrath). Finally, the epic DC Super Hero Crossover Event kicks off when Barry Allen (guest star Grant Gustin) and Cisco Ramon (guest star Carlos Valdes) seek Kara's help with an alien invasion on their Earth.

Kara is moved by the story of a missing woman named Izzy (guest star Harley Quinn Smith) and decides to investigate despite Snapper Carr's order to leave it alone. Kara takes Mon-El with her to the last place Izzy was seen and the duo find themselves thrust through a portal to another planet, Slaver's Moon, where the downtrodden are sold as slaves. The leader of the trafficking ring is none other than Roulette. To make matters worse, Slaver's Moon has a red sun, which means Kara and Mon-El are stripped of their powers and stuck on the planet with no way home. Meanwhile, back on Earth, Alex blames herself for Kara's disappearance, fearing she's become too focused on her new relationship with Maggie and too complacent in watching out for her sister.

After Livewire (recurring guest star Brit Morgan) seemingly breaks out of prison, Supergirl is intent on recapturing her. She takes Mon-El with her when she sees Livewire attack the NCPD, but things go awry when he puts Supergirl before the citizens of National City. Meanwhile, James decides to come clean with Kara; and M'Gann has a psychic attack and collapses into a coma.

Armek (guest star Terrell Tilford), a White Martian, descends on National City intent on taking M'gann back to Mars to face her punishment as a traitor. Hank and Supergirl determine the best way to keep M'gann safe is to bring her to the DEO. However, when it is revealed that Armek shapeshifted into M'gann and is now loose in the building, the team realize he could be disguised as any one of them.

After Metallo (guest star Frederick Schmidt) breaks out of prison and frees Lillian Luthor (guest star Brenda Strong), the police blame Lena for her escape and arrest her. Despite overwhelming evidence, Kara refuses to believe her friend is guilty and fights to clear Lena's name. Flashbacks reveal how Lena came to be a Luthor. Meanwhile, Alex and Maggie celebrate their first Valentine's Day together.

When Mr. Mxyzptlk (guest star Peter Gadiot), a magical imp, shows up on Earth and declares his love for Kara, she tries to let him down easy, thinking him harmless. However, he decides it's a challenge and starts to wreak havoc on National City. Mon-El has seen beings like Mr. Mxyzptlk on Daxam and knows how dangerous they can be. He and Kara argue over how to get rid of Mr. Mxyzptlk, further straining their relationship.

When Jeremiah Danvers (guest star Dean Cain) is rescued from Cadmus, Alex and Kara are thrilled to have their father back. The Danvers arrange a family dinner to celebratebut things go awry when a suspicious Mon-El starts to question Jeremiah about his sudden return.

As Alex searches for Jeremiah, and Kara investigates a series of alien kidnappings, the sisters realize they must break the rules in order to foil a new Cadmus plot. In an effort to get Snapper Carr to run a story that would help her stop Cadmus, Kara agrees to set up an interview between Carr and Supergirl.

A new villain (guest star Teri Hatcher) comes to National City, putting Supergirl on high alert. Meanwhile, Winn's girlfriend, Lyra (guest star Tamzin Merchant), gets Winn in trouble with the law. Maggie attempts to help Winn but old loyalties get in the way. The Music Meister (guest star Darren Criss) attacks Supergirl.

When a large bounty is put out on Supergirl, aliens from near and far attack National City intent on taking out the Woman of Steel. Meanwhile, Alex and Maggie run into Maggie's ex-girlfriend, Emily (guest star Hayley Sales), who's in town for a week; and Hank gets an interesting order from President Marsdin (Lynda Carter). Kevin Smith directs.

Lena's ex-boyfriend, Jack Spheer (guest star Rahul Kohli), comes to National City to unveil his big breakthrough in nano-technology, which has the potential to eradicate all diseases. Lena asks Kara to attend Jack's conference with her for support. When Kara sees Snapper in attendance she's inspired to tap back into her reporter skills and questions Jack on his discovery, which ultimately leads to a bigger investigation that puts everyone in danger.

When Alex is abducted, the kidnapper threatens to kill her unless Supergirl releases a notorious criminal from prison. Even though Supergirl and Maggie have always had different approaches to apprehending criminals, this time they must work together to save Alex. Meanwhile Rhea (Teri Hatcher) has an interesting proposal for Lena.

When an alien attacks National City, Supergirl and the DEO learn the alien is a Phorian, an otherwise peaceful race with telekinetic powers. Guardian gets a lead on the Phorian's location but instead of finding the culprit, he finds a very scared boy named Marcus (guest star Lonnie Chavis). Marcus will only trust James, so it is up to Guardian to stop the attacks on the city. Meanwhile, Rhea's plan escalates.

Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) returns to National City. Meanwhile, Supergirl grapples with whether or not to obey orders from the President (Lynda Carter) regarding Rhea's latest actions.

In the second season finale, Supergirl challenges Rhea in battle to save National City. Meanwhile, Cat Grant offers Supergirl some sage advice and Superman returns.

In the season three premiere, Kara deals with the loss of Mon-El by focusing all her energy on being Supergirl and on the mysterious new threat against National City. Alex confesses a secret to Maggie (recurring guest star FLORIANA LIMA) about their impending nuptials. A citizen of National City has a mysterious connection to Kara, and Lena makes a bold move.

Psi (guest star YAEL GROBGLAS), a thief with psychic powers, attacks National City. Able to immobilize people by tapping into their worst fears, Psi proves a formidable opponent for Supergirl. Meanwhile, James and Lena are at an impasse, and Samantha (new series regular ODETTE ANNABLE) starts her new job at L-Corp.

While Supergirl joins J’onn on a personal mission, Eliza Danvers (recurring guest star HELEN SLATER) throws a wedding shower for Alex and Maggie, which causes Maggie to reach out to her estranged father (guest star CARLOS BERNARD).

Kara investigates a secretive new group whose leader, Thomas Coville (guest star CHAD LOWE), has a mysterious connection to Supergirl. Meanwhile, Samantha feels like she’s letting her daughter, Ruby (recurring guest star EMMA TREMBLAY) down; and J’onn confesses an old secret.

When multiple children get sick from lead poisoning, Morgan Edge (guest star ADRIAN PASDAR) points the finger at Lena and blames her creation of the lead bomb she made to save National City from the Daxamites. While Lena knows she never intended any harm, she fears there may have been a flaw in her design, leaving her responsible. Kara teams up with Samantha to clear Lena's name, but it turns out to be harder than they thought. Meanwhile, Alex and Maggie make a crucial decision about the future of their relationship.

Kara and Alex head home to Midvale for a little R&R. While there, Kara recalls a painful memory of a childhood friend’s death and how that traumatic experience brought the Danvers sisters closer together. IZABELA VIDOVIC plays Young Kara and OLIVIA NIKKANEN plays Young Alex in flashbacks.

When Winn and the team discover an alien ship has crash landed deep underwater beneath National City, Kara/Supergirl is called in to investigate. Meanwhile, Hank attempts to bond with his father, Myr’nn (recurring guest star CARL LUMBLY). Samantha, eager for some understanding of the changes she has been experiencing, looks to her estranged mother, Patricia Arias (guest star BETTY BUCKLEY), for answers.

The epic four-way crossover with Arrow, Supergirl, The Flash and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow begins. Barry Allen (guest star GRANT GUSTIN) and Iris West’s (guest star CANDICE PATTON) wedding brings the gang together, but things go awry when villains from Earth-X attack the ceremony. All of the superheroes band together, with help from their super friends like Citizen Cold (guest star WENTWORTH MILLER), The Ray (guest star RUSSELL TOVEY), Felicity Smoak (guest star EMILY BETT RICKARDS), and Alex Danvers to take on their most formidable villains yet. Earth’s mightiest heroes – Green Arrow (guest star STEPHEN AMELL), Supergirl, The Flash and White Canary (guest star CAITY LOTZ) – lead their teams into battle to save the world.

Supergirl investigates a mysterious symbol popping up all over National City, tracing its origins back to an ancient prophecy and the mark of the World Killer, Reign. Meanwhile, the tension between Lena and Morgan Edge continues to build, causing James to step in and offer up some protection, and possibly igniting a spark in the process.

Struggling to heal from her injuries inflicted by Reign, Supergirl remains in a dreamlike state, unable to be reached. Mon-El recruits one of the Legion members, Brainiac-5 (guest star JESSE RATH), to try to bring her back. Meanwhile, Reign continues her rampage on the city, so the DEO teams up with the Legion of Super Heroes to try to stop her.

As Reign continues to terrorize the city, Supergirl teams up with Saturn Girl (guest star AMY JACKSON), and the two recruit Supergirl’s former enemies, Livewire (guest star BRIT MORGAN) and Psi, to form a team for a mission to Fort Rozz to recover a prisoner who has information on how to defeat Reign once and for all. Meanwhile, Alex babysits Ruby.

Someone tries to kill Morgan Edge and he barely survives. He accuses Lena of being behind the attempt and vows to destroy her. When Lena fears her hatred for Morgan will take her to the Luthor dark side, Kara steps in to help her friend. Meanwhile, after Sam realizes she’s losing time, she confides in Alex who decides to run some medical tests to see if she can find out what’s going on with her new friend.

The DEO captures a second Worldkiller, Purity (guest star KRYS MARSHALL). Supergirl and Alex use very different methods of interrogation with Purity in the hopes of finding out how to defeat Reign. However, Purity escapes and attacks the city’s subway tunnels. Meanwhile, J’onn, Winn and Mon-El band together to fix the Legion ship.

When Winn’s father dies, his estranged mother, Mary (guest star LAURIE METCALF), reappears trying to reconnect and to explain why she abandoned him all those years ago. Winn is too embittered from his rough childhood to forgive her, but when a copycat Toyman attacks, the two must work together to stop him. Mon-El tells Kara something important about the Worldkillers, and Alex becomes suspicious of Myr’nn’s recent behavior.

When Myr’nn inadvertently causes psychic disturbances at the DEO, Supergirl must work with J’onn to contain the resulting chaos. Meanwhile, Mon-El begins training Kara in fighting techniques he’s learned in the future for battling Worldkillers.

Supergirl and Imra (recurring guest star AMY JACKSON) have different ideas on how to stop the third Worldkiller, Pestilence (guest star ANGELA ZHOU). However, when both Alex and Winn are seriously injured by Pestilence, Supergirl and Imra team up to stop the destruction.

Still reeling after learning about Lena’s secret, Supergirl asks Guardian for a favor that could alter his relationship with Lena forever. Meanwhile, with all three Worldkillers united, Supergirl and the team brace for an epic battle.

When Reign starts hunting Ruby, Supergirl and Alex work together to keep her safe. Supergirl and J’onn look to Sam’s mother, Patricia for advice on how to stop Reign and come away with some shocking news.

When Tanya (guest star NESTA COOPER), a disciple of Coville’s, escapes from what’s left of his cult, she gives Kara and James a journal that could hold the key to saving Sam. Someone learns Guardian’s identity and threatens to expose James if he doesn’t do what they ask. James contemplates what it means to be a black vigilante without a mask in America.

Supergirl is stunned to discover that a part of Krypton survived. Meanwhile, Alex is attacked while out with Ruby, and Lena considers how far she will go to keep Reign contained.

While J’onn finds out that special DEO-caliber weapons have hit the streets of National City, Kara considers a major life decision.

Supergirl learns the true depth of Selena’s (recurring guest star ANJALI JAY) nefarious plan for Earth. While J’onn prepares to say goodbye to his father, Supergirl, Mon-El and Alura (reccurring guest star ERICA DURANCE) must devise a plan to stop Selena before she gets to Earth.

In the shocking third season finale, Supergirl and the team take on Selena in an epic battle for Earth.

Diving back into reporting, Kara welcomes new reporter Nia Nal to CatCo in the season four premiere. Meanwhile, James and Lena argue about his impending indictment for acting as the vigilante, Guardian, while Alex and Brainy struggle to get in sync at the DEO. Then, Supergirl is called into action when remnants of the anti-alien terrorist organization Cadmus try to assassinate pro-alien leaders, but their endgame turns out to be much more sinister than she expected. J'onn relishes his peaceful new life, but an outing with an old friend causes him concern.

A shocking revelation causes chaos in National City. While Alex takes control at the DEO, Supergirl sets out to capture Mercy Graves (recurring guest star RHONA MITRA). Back at CatCo, Kara decides to write an investigative story on Mercy and asks Lena to introduce her as she has ties to the Luthors. Meanwhile, Brainy meets Nia and the two end up in a precarious situation.

Ben Lockwood (SAM WITWER) didn't always hate aliens. Through a series of incidents, and input from his anti-alien father (guest star XANDER BERKELEY), Ben slowly transforms from a mild-mannered professor into the villainous Agent Liberty of today.

When Supergirl needs help, Alex asks Lena and Brainiac to team up. Meanwhile, J'onn questions his decision to quit the DEO. However, after running into Manchester Black (guest star DAVID AYALA), he realizes there are a lot of ways to help his fellow aliens during this tumultuous time.

Colonel Haley (new series regular APRIL PARKER JONES) makes a surprising decision regarding Supergirl. Meanwhile, Kara writes a series of articles highlighting aliens in National City in the hopes that humans will stop being so fearful of them. Unfortunately, the articles put some of the aliens in harm's way.

Although everyone gathers for Thanksgiving, Kara is feeling down after her televised debate with Ben Lockwood about the anti-alien sentiment coursing through National City. Meanwhile, James and Lena argue about the best way to handle the Children of Liberty.

James falls in deeper with the Children of Liberty in his efforts to meet Agent Liberty. Meanwhile, Supergirl and Manchester Black follow a lead on Agent Liberty's location, but things take a dark turn. Lena kicks off her first set of trials. Chad Lowe directs.

In the midseason finale, Nia has a powerful dream about Agent Liberty, but refuses to look at it as a prophetic dream and pushes it aside. After noticing something is bothering Nia, Kara enlists Brainy's help, and the two try to persuade Nia to embrace her destiny. Meanwhile, Manchester Black pays Ben Lockwood a menacing visit. Kevin Smith directs.

In the final part of the three-part crossover, Supergirl, The Flash (guest star GRANT GUSTIN), Green Arrow (guest star STEPHEN AMELL) and Superman (recurring guest star TYLER HOECHLIN) engage in the battle of their lives.

Colonel Haley is upset after Supergirl responds to a distress call from a Navy ship that turned out to be a deadly alien attack. Colonel Haley reclaims the site as DEO territory and demands that Supergirl step aside. After Supergirl refuses to be told what to do, Haley refocuses her energy on finding out Supergirl's true identity and begins to interrogate all DEO agents, including Alex. Meanwhile, Brainiac-5 tries to persuade Nia to embrace her superpowers but she misinterprets his motives.

Kara joins Nia on a trip to Nia's hometown to visit her family during the town's annual Harvest Festival. While home, Nia's mother, Isabel (guest star KATE BURTON) encourages her daughter to embrace her destiny. Meanwhile, Alex deals with a dangerous street drug that is turning people violent and giving them temporary superpowers.

With his P.I. shingle newly hung outside his office, J'onn welcomes new clients. Trying to take her mind off what happened at the DEO, Kara decides to team up with J'onn on his latest assignment, which unfortunately ends up tying directly into Alex's current investigation that involves the villain Menagerie (guest star JESSICA MERAZ). Meanwhile, Lena shares some news with James, but his reaction isn't what she expected. Nia invites Brainy to her Valentine's Day party.

When Manchester Black breaks out of prison with the help of his new team, The Elite, who are set on punishing the anti-alien forces, Supergirl pulls double duty as she tries to apprehend Manchester Black and his team as well as dealing with a shocking new development with Ben Lockwood.

Between Ben Lockwood's new push to stir up the anti-alien movement and the Elite's desire to target Lockwood and his minions, Supergirl is concerned about the safety of the American people -- both human and alien. When Lockwood organizes a rally, the aliens decide to peacefully protest. Brainiac and J'onn join the alien march while Supergirl and Dreamer patrol to keep everyone safe. Meanwhile, James picks up his camera again to cover the march for CatCo, and Haley assigns Alex a job that clashes with her beliefs. When The Elite and Ben Lockwood stir up trouble at the rally, Supergirl is forced to take a stand. JONATHAN BENNETT guest stars.

Secretly furloughed from prison due to failing health, Lex Luthor (special guest star JON CRYER) visits his sister, Lena, to seek her help finding a cure. Savvy as ever, Lena is suspicious of Lex's motives, but when she's faced with a life and death situation, she must decide how she truly feels about her brother. Meanwhile, Supergirl and J'onn face off against Manchester Black. James's sister Kelly (guest star AZIE TESFAI) comes to town.

In the wake of Lex Luthor's return, the show flashes back to what he's been doing for the last two years and how his secret machinations and plans have affected Supergirl and Lena.

Shocked at what Lex has created, Supergirl faces her biggest challenge yet as she deals with the destructive aftermath of his nefarious plans.

Supergirl and Lena head to Stryker's Island to search for clues on how to defeat Lex. At the prison, Supergirl tries to befriend a nosy prisoner, Steve (guest star WILLIE GARSON), who may have insight into what Lex was doing, but he and all of the prisoners regard her as a traitor to the country and refuse to talk to her. Lena realizes Lex left behind clues for her and deciphering them could be the key to his whereabouts. With their worlds in imminent danger, the superheroes suit up for battle while J’onn and Alex recruit Lena to help them find a way to save the people of Earth-38.

While Kara deals with difficult news, Alex usues a pair of Obsidian contact lenses to visit a virtual National City where she takes on a whole new persona. Meanwhile Kelly helps William investigate Lex.

Lex proceeds to lay an intricate plan to bring Lena closer to him, defeat Leviathan’s latest attack, and pit Supergirl and team against Leviathan. It is also revealed how Lex came into power after Crisis. Series star Melissa Benoist makes her directorial debut.

Supergirl and the team go head to head against Rama Khan and Leviathan. Meanwhile, Lena and Lex must join forces when Project Non Nocere fails, leaving the two siblings in serious danger.

In the season five finale, Supergirl must work with the one person she never thought she’d trust again – Lena – in order to stop Lex and Leviathan.

In the sixth and final season premiere Brainiac lays close to death after trying to stop Lex (recurring guest star Jon Cryer) causing Supergirl and the team to soar in to save him engaging in an epic battle with Gamenmae (guest star Cara Buono). After beating Leviathan, Supergirl turns her attention to Lex who has used the Obsidian platform to brainwash half the world to love him and follow him at all costsno matter what horrible things he does. Knowing how dangerous this makes her brother Lena enlists the entire team Alex, J'onn, Dreamer, Kelly, and Brainiac to help but Supergirl realizes that the only way to truly stop Lex is to sacrifice herself.

As the stakes with Lex are raised higher than ever before Lena must decide how far she is willing to go to stop her brother. Meanwhile Supergirl and the team are faced with a challenge unlike anything they've ever dealt with before and it brings Alex to her breaking point.

While Lena and Lex battle for control of Luthor Corp Supergirl makes a new ally.

Supergirl finds an opportunity to escape from the Phantom Zone but it comes with some dangerous strings attached. Meanwhile Lena joins the Super Friends on a mission but finds she disagrees with their plan of action against the Phantoms and wonders if she is truly ready to be a part of the team.

Nia and Brainy attempt to save Supergirl from the Phantom Zone by time traveling back to Kara's home in 2009. While determined to secure the item needed to help Supergirl, Brainy is worried about keeping a low profile so as not to alter the future timeline. However when their ship crashes upon arrival a young Kara Danvers (guest star IZABELA VIDOVIC) is the first on the scene. Meanwhile a young reporter named Cat Grant (guest star ELIZA HELM) sets her sights on Midvale as she suspects there is a big story in the small town.

Part Two of the flashback episodes pick up where things left off; Young Kara experiences Kryptonite for the first time; Nia and Brainy are trapped by invading aliens; and a young Cat Grant may be the reason Supergirl never gets out of the Phantom Zone. Series star Chyler Leigh makes her directorial debut.

As the Super Friends brave the Phantom Zone to bring Supergirl home each member of the team is confronted by visions of their worst fear. Series star DAVID HAREWOOD directs.

As Supergirl and Zor-El (recurring guest star JASON BEHR) make their return to National City they are determined to keep the Phantom Zone behind them and enjoy being superheroes together. Unfortunately their overzealous efforts backfire creating a whole new threat to National City in the midseason premiere.

Kelly meets a young orphaned alien boy Joey (guest star AIDEN STOXX) who is acting out in foster care because he fears there is something wrong with his incarcerated brother Orlando (guest star JHALEIL SWABY). Kelly asks Kara to help her investigate and they stumble upon abuse at the prison. Meanwhile Nyxly (new series regular PETA SERGEANT) crashes one of Nia’s dreams and asks her for help.

When a building in the Heights that was set aside for low-income housing is suddenly at risk to be sold to a major corporation Supergirl recruits Orlando to help her win over the city but things go awry when Nyxly shows up. Meanwhile Nia trains with her mother (guest star KATE BURTON).

Supergirl and team must stop Nyxly from vanquishing a familiar face from Supergirl's past, Mr. Mxyzptlk (guest star THOMAS LENNON). Mxy returns and explains Nyxly's dark history to the super team in the best way he knows how... in song form! Meanwhile Lena visits her mother's birthplace in Ireland eager to dig into her past but is shocked by the small town's icy reception towards her.

Kelly is horrified when the Ormfell building implodes injuring many in the community including Joey. However her horror quickly turns to frustration when she realizes that the hospital is overwhelmed people are getting sicker and no one is coming to help including Supergirl who is busy fighting Nyxly. Knowing that she can make a difference Kelly embraces her power and fully steps into her role as Guardian. Joined by Supergirl, Alex, John Diggle (guest star DAVID RAMSEY) and the teamGuardian leads the way to restoring justice to the fallen community. David Ramsey directs the episode co-written by Azie Tesfai.

Supergirl and the team race Nyxly for control of a magical totem that controls courage. Supergirl and Nyxly battle and each get a piece of the totem but learn the first person to pass the test of courage will gain control of the entire thing. Meanwhile Lena is still struggling to make sense of her newfound gift.

Lena is uncertain about using her magical abilities to help Supergirl retrieve the second totem from Nyxly. William struggles to write a story on the Super Friends that makes both the heroes and Andrea happy. Meanwhile Kelly is thrilled Esme (guest star MILA JONES) has found a new homebut things go awry and the little girl’s future is put in danger.

Supergirl continues to fight Nyxly for the remaining totems but after Nyxly kidnaps William, Supergirl realizes she needs to take a more proactive stance to keep National City safe. Meanwhile, Alex faces the biggest challenge of her life.

Kara lands her dream story for Catco but when the city is suddenly attacked by a nightmare monster at the same time as her interview, she is forced to take a serious look at her life and decide if she can continue to live as both Kara and Supergirl. As Dreamer takes the lead on the search for the Dream Totem, which can vanquish the nightmare monster in National City, she realizes she needs to ask her sister Mauve (guest star Hannah James) for help. But old wounds resurface as the two sisters come face to face.
