Green Berets are America's unconventional warfare specialists. Instead of focusing on brute force tactics, the Green Berets live by the motto “Humans are more important than hardware.” Go inside their selection process in Surviving the Cut, a 2-week hellish interview with tasks specifically designed to break a man and expose his real character. The Green Berets are awesome, but i think Surviving The Cut should also do a special about the Navy SEALs. They go through some of the absolute hardest training in the world. I want to be a Navy SEAL or a Green Beret. Click like if you agree to a Navy SEAL special.
Really Accurate Info
Having served 9 yrs as a Green Beret, doing 3 yrs in Iraq (2003-2006) and 2 yrs in Afghanistan (2007-2009) and traveled to more then 20 countries, I can ultimately tell you that this brought back a lot of memories of Special Forces Assessment Selection. Of course there is a lot more training involved in earning your Green Beret, but Selection is where it starts. My Selection class started out with 221 candidates and only 15 of us graduated and earned our berets. A lot of people who pass Selection have no idea but the training is only going to get a lot tougher and the candidates in this show are in for a beating they have never recieved before during Prisoner Of War training or SERE School. Overall, a great show!
I caught this show on tv and was shocked at how grewling the training was, lord knows i wouldn't do it but i give these guys all the respect in the world, and more
