Description

The Emmy Award-winning series returns for its 37th season, themed "David vs. Goliath." This edition features 20 new castaways divided into two groups of 10 strangers. Castaways who make up the "David" tribe have overcome adversity in their lives, while the castaways on the "Goliath" tribe tend to capitalize on their individual advantages and use it against their opponents. This extreme game of social politics will focus on the "underdogs" versus the "favorites" and reveal that every "Goliath" has an Achilles heel, while every "David" has a secret weapon. These castaways will be forced to compete against each other with the same ultimate goal: to outwit, outplay and outlast each other in an attempt to become the Sole Survivor. The show returns to the Mamanuca Islands in Fiji. Emmy Award winner Jeff Probst hosts.

One Star Production

Big fan of Survivor, I have faithfully watched every episode of this great series. But have witnessed it’s decline with bad show strategies, performances and creativity. David vs Goliath is just a bad planed idea. Throwing ten strong individuals who together are stronger, smarter and of course more successful in life with money and power against ten people who are close to poor or barely making it threw life because of adversities from financial or family problems. Doesn’t exactly set the table up for a dog fight. Believe me I writing this after just watching episode two and I can see the ending of the show which is just watching the Goliath side battle each other to the end. The David tribe is all ready in trouble after losing two teammates and even if there is a quick mixup and changing of the tribes. You still would have more Goliaths and the David’s would be sure to be voted out. There is no other scenario, this David tribe is truly that bad. Listen if you wanted to have the rich against the poor then at least match up the people to have fair physical challenges and a better mind since ability. It really is that much difference between the teams. Poor judgement on the production side and poor strategy overall...Too me this one goes in the can.
