Patricia Heaton (Everybody Loves Raymond) stars in this hilarious comedy series as Frankie Heck, a harried wife and working mother of three who uses her wry wit and sense of humor to try to get her family through each day intact. Frankie’s unflappable husband, Mike, is a manager at the local quarry and her sardonic partner in the daily grind of raising their average – yes, most definitely average – family. In between juggling shifts and eating fast food dinners in front of the TV, the Hecks raise their kids with love and solid Midwestern practicality. This season, Doris Roberts (Everybody Loves Raymond) guest stars as Brick’s teacher who accuses Frankie of being an overprotective parent. Plus, viewers are introduced to a few of Mike’s family members, including his brother, Rusty (Norm McDonald, Saturday Night Live), and his dad, Big Mike (John Cullum, ER, Northern Exposure).
