Teen Titans Go!, Season 1HDClosed Captioning

Open iTunes to preview or buy TV shows.

These teen titans are on the go! Right after they make a sandwich. Or play some video games. Wait, there’s laundry to do. (“Not it!”) After that, they’ll definitely go fight some crime. Maybe…. Inspired by the original hit series Teen Titans from Warner Bros. Animation, TEEN TITANS GO! features the return of Robin, Starfire, Raven, Beast Boy and Cyborg in all-new comedic adventures. These five super hero teens have more than just super powers — they have super-sized chores to do and they’re super unsupervised! Saving the world might seem like a pretty big deal, but after fighting evil all day in Jump City, the last thing these teens want to do is fight over the remote back home at Titans Tower or have to clean up after a marathon pizza party. So get ready for comedic mayhem punctuated by pranks as the teens totally annoy each other, with a splash of crime fighting. Unless there’s something good on TV….

I really like the new series it still has the original characters but its funny and this is an awesome series to watch

I'm gonna be honest here. I expected to absolutely despise "Teen Titans Go!" from the moment I saw the very first preview. I've always been a huge fan of the original series, from the complex characters to the anime influences to the intense storylines to the surprisingly mature drama. Everything about the show was brilliant, creative, and unforgettable, so the mere thought that something as cartoonish and over-the-top as "Go!" would end up replacing it seven years after its cancellation felt like one big slap in the face to me and the rest of the fans. Still, I decided to give this new spin-off a chance, seeing as how it at least did bring back the original voice cast for the main characters. And you know what? It's not that bad. I kinda like the bright animation, silly short stories, and fast-paced comedy. You could even say it's a "Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi" version of the old series in the way that it doesn't take itself seriously and just has fun with the protagonists. By no means will this show ever live up to the heights of its predecessor, but it's certainly better than what a lot of people are giving it credit for. As long as you try to have an open mind and take this cartoon for what it is, then you should at least be left mildly entertained for a solid 22 minutes.

Good! Give it a chance.

I went in expecting to hate this show. I thought it'd be tearing up my memories of the old show, one of the most important creative influences in my life. I was shocked to find myself genuinely enjoying this show not one minute after it began.

Don't go in expecting the same show as 2003, and you'll find a genuinely clever, (as ever) wonderfully voiced and lovingly animated comedy.

I used to think "I'm glad this stupid new show is happening because there could be a resurgence in interest in the series, and maybe the old show will be renewed. That'll make it worth the pain of seeing my favorite characters dragged through the mud." But I was wrong! Nobody's being dragged through mud, and frankly, if this is the last time we see the Titans animated, I still think it's a great thing that this new show is happening.

I'm looking forward to the rest of this series. Here's hoping to more and more Titans!
