From TV to movies to magazines, we are barraged by images that shame us into believing that love cannot exist without sex, beauty or youth. It is a crushing tide of promises and expectations against which many couples drown. This provocative drama series explores issues of intimacy within the lives of three couples and the therapist they share. Jane Alexander stars as the marriage and sex therapist who links the ensemble together: a 20-something couple concerned with fidelity; a 30-something couple struggling to start a family; and a couple in their forties whose sex life is empty after two kids and 12 years of marriage. Michelle Borth, Tim DeKay, Ally Walker, Adam Scott, Sonya Walger, Kate Towne, David Selby and Aislinn Paul co-star.

Takes Getting Used to, but worth the wait
The first time i saw this show I thought it was horrible. But before you knew it, I was hooked. The characters are so very real and are on a collision course that is hard to watch at times, but so addicting. You get attached to these characters and their problems. You root for some and hate others. All in all, it is a great show about true life and true troubles. And if you are in the television nudity, there is that too Too bad HBO cancelled this show
Awesome Show for Today's Marriages
Bought the first two episodes just to see what it was like. Loved it! Thought the subjects touched home in several couples that I know today. HBO continues to push the buttons. Would recommend to anyone who is married, getting married or just curious about a long time relationship. Awesome Show!!!! Can't wait for the new season!
show is good but appropriate for today's couples
I would say that this show is similar to In Treatment but for couples who are suffering from sexual, fertility and committment issues, etc. It is nice to see these true to life ups and downs in a relationship at different points in ones' life. I have watched the first 2 episodes and I will definitely watch the others. It grows on you as do the couples and characters. I think the actin should improve and the show will get better. The writing needs a little more umph...but otherwise a good show.
