This professionally produced original machinima series is derived from the recent release of Terminator Salvation, the action-packed third-person shooter video game, and includes the voice of Moon Bloodgood, star of the theatrical release. Machinima is a cutting-edge form of animation that is created using video game engines and graphics. Two years before the events of Terminator Salvation, Resistance fighter Blair Williams embarks on a deadly mission to eradicate a technological threat that is weakening the Resistance'a ability to fight a deadly A.I. called SkyNet and its lethal array of Terminator machines.

Not that I had great expectations...
It is a Machimina series, basically, videos made from a gaming platform. One episode is 12:22 minutes long, which I had not realized. I guess that I was so frustrated with the Sarah Connor Chronicles candelation, that when I saw this, I said to myself, why not give it a chance. The dialog is not original at all; lame at best. The pace is very slow... and the action scenes are pretty lame. Good Machimina movies are all about the dialog... this one relies 100% on the action sequences... I bought the HD version by mistake... I would not recomend buying the HD version.
Please don't encourage them..
Essentially, this feels like I am being asked to pay to watch someone else play a mediocre game. Yes, those involved in the Terminator franchise are interested in making as much money as possible -- and then some -- but did they reallly feel that this [censored by iTunes] was necessary/appropriate/ad nauseam? Jumping Jesus on a pogo stick! If you're going to spend $1.99 (or $2.99 for HD), you might want to consider an ep of the Sarah Connor Chronicles. M-i-g-h-t help the fine folks at Fox to reconsider their cancellation and invest in the further development of that particular portion of the Terminatorverse. Well, it probably won't, but Good God Hell... don't encourage them to crank out any more of this nonsense.
these are shots from the new video game ...
Terminator Salvation. It's okay if buyer is aware but some may not be. Kind of lame imho.
