Producers Josh Friedman (War of the Worlds) and John Wirth (Ghost Whisperer) team up with Mario Kassar and Andrew Vajna (producers of Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines) to bring to television an intense new drama taking place after the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Fugitives from the law, Sarah Connor (Lena Headey from 300) and her teenage son, John (Thomas Dekker from Heroes), are confronted with the reality that still more enemies from the future and the present could attack at any moment. They evade pursuers in today's Los Angeles, relentlessly battling to save the human race. Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles represents an exciting reinvention of the Terminator series in which the strong and intrepid Sarah discovers that protecting her son and stopping the rise of the machines is more difficult than she had ever imagined.

I had recently introduced my kids to the entire Terminator series of movies, so when we began seeing promos for the show, we were ready to check for story continuity and do quality comparisons. In short, we approve. I was extremely skeptical about taking such a high-budget concept onto the small screen, but whatever the TV budget is, it suffices to provide great action shots. In addition, the man vs. machine theme and the implications of time travel never get old.
This show is excellent! The cast is cool, and so far, the storyline and action keep you on your toes! I would easily choose it over terminator 3. It also takes place after terminator 2, too. Great, and even better, because pilot's free!
I was at first a bit weary about watching this series, but after the first five minutes I was hooked. The acting is spectacular and I was on the edge of my seat from the very beginning. The show leaves you thinking and has great action scenes as well as some humor. I recommend this to anyone, download the free pilot and you won't be disappointed.
