It’s been nearly 100 years since Earth was devastated by a nuclear apocalypse, with the only survivors being the 400 inhabitants of 12 international space stations that were in orbit at the time. Three generations later, the survivors number 4,000 — and resources are running out on their dying “Ark” (the 12 stations now linked together and repurposed to keep the survivors alive). Draconian measures including capital punishment and population control are the order of the day, as the leaders of the Ark take ruthless steps to ensure their future — including secretly exiling a group of 100 juvenile prisoners to the Earth’s surface to test whether it’s habitable. No one has set foot on the planet in nearly a century — until now. For the 100 on Earth, the alien planet they’ve never known is a mysterious realm that can be magical one moment and lethal the next.

I was hoping this show was going to be good but the pilot just made me roll my eyes.
These kids have never been to Earth and yet when they arrive on the ground, they show almost no fear of the world around them, despite having landed in a jungle complete with mutated animals and predators. It has all the authenticity of a ride at Disneyland (insert mock scream). These kids struggle in a trivial way through the dense jungle, never getting dirt under their fingernails (no, really, if you look even their hands are pristine). They manage to keep this flawless cleanliness going even through an incident where one girl gets attacked by a predator, dragged around like it's going to make lunch our of her, and she comes out of it with a non-serious scratch on her leg. Her hair, like everyone else's, is never out of place. These characters are a bunch of bozos and as usual the girls are there to be "protected" and rescued. One is continually called "princess" - blond hair blue eyes - even though she specifically requested not to be called that (and you get the feeling that she's supposed to slowly be charmed by it or something) and the other girl actually asks one of the guys to rescue her, in an attempt to flirt. Of course, they both look like models while there are many more males with more diverse appearances in the cast. And of course, one strips off the majority of her clothes so the guys can ogle her. I guess that is what this show needs to sell itself? Because there isn't any other substance to speak of.
As much potential and promise there is inherent in the idea behind the plot, this tv show is painfully shallow, uninspiring teen fluff remeniscient of the first Twilight movie but far worse. It's a dud.
It’s pretty awesome!
Attractive people doing a terrible job with awful dialogue.
I never saw Twilight, but I imagine it's something like this. Cool premise...In every other way this show is horrendously bad!
