Dr. Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) is a highly skilled forensic anthropologist who works at the Jeffersonian Institute and writes novels as a sideline. When the standard methods of identifying a body are deemed useless — when the remains are so badly decomposed, burned, or destroyed that CSI gives up — law enforcement calls in Brennan for her uncanny ability to read clues left behind in the victim's bones. Most law enforcement is unable to handle Brennan's intelligence, her drive for the truth, or the way she flings herself headlong into each and every investigation. FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth (David Boreanaz) is the exception. A former Army sniper, Booth mistrusts science and scientists — the "squints," as he calls them, who pore over the physical evidence — when it comes to solving crimes. But even he cannot deny that the combination of his people-smarts and Brennan's scientific acumen make them a formidable team.

This is one of the best TV shows to air on television - ever! The writing is superb - very quick, witty, and to the point. The acting is phenomenal from the main characters to the minor characters as each actor has really fleshed out their character into a well rounded human being. The cast is young, attractive, and intelligent. Booth and Brennan definitely have a bit of a Mulder-Scully thing going on which should make any X-Files fan grin. The storylines are facinating and rich with forensic science, mystery, and intrigue but what I really like about this show is that it is truly character driven. We know as much about the people behind the cases as we do about the cases and it makes the audience connect with the characters and with the show. The human element in this show is wonderful and makes us cheer for the characters through their high moments and care for them through their low moments. And the humor in this show is great!
"No Bones" about it! A show with plot, character & smart dialogue
If you're like me and grew up with shows like Remington Steele you'll like Bones. The mysteries & plots are timely to our world, while still remaining deeply rooted in character. The stories are fun and interesting and I love that in each episode we see not only do the main characters grow, but so do each member of a great supporting cast as well. The dialogue is sharp & witty and doesn't insult the viewer’s intelligence. I love the banter between Booth and Bones and makes for great sexual tension in the great tradition of Boogey & Bacall.

This show is smart, witty, and incredibly interesting. Science with a sense of humor. I love that sharp humor and underlying romantic tension between Booth and Bones. I'm thrilled to death that it's on iTunes because I can download it and watch from Japan. THANK YOU for adding this show. I look forward to the new season!
