Reminds me of the original movie but with its own identity. Had some really eerie moments. I look forward to more. Hope it sticks around.
The power of Christ compels me to say this was Great
And it is just getting started!!! More neck twisting please with a side of blasphemy and carpet pissing.
Taking cues from the original 1973 cinematic masterpiece, this series re-sets the stage in contemporary Chicago featuring a stellar cast, thoughtful writing and genuinely disturbing visual sequences that harken back to the story that started it all. I just beg that the plot doesn't devolve into a "Carrie-esque" rip-off and instead stays true to the uniquely demonic "Exorcist" narrative. The truly great things about a horror story of this nature, it can make you really contemplate the struggle between the divine and that which is evil. And, that's a great thing.
