After years of being tutored on the professional video gaming circuit, Conor aka "KidFury" is forced to enroll in public high school for the first time after suffering a devastating thumb injury. At Mondale High, Conor meets three fellow gamers: confident but lovable Wendell; the gamer-groupie, Franklin; and quirky, fun-loving Ashley. They team up to form the first-ever gaming league at their school, and together they learn that building lasting friendships in the real world is more important than accumulating high scores in the digital one.

Is this what Disney thinks of us?
So as far as "kidcoms" go, Disney has some good concepts with kickin' it. The show had its charm, and some of its plots were so absurd I was willing to spend my disbelief and even get a chuckle from their stupidity now and again.
Unfortunately the producers seem to be scraping the bottom of the barrel for this one. Lots of gaming stereotypes and typical cartoony gross out humor. And that's sad because a sitcom about esports, for kids or adults (or preferably both - clean but intelligent), has so much to offer.
Check out David Sirlin's book "Playing to Win" and read some of its more sarcastic articles, like the one about "the scrub". The potential for a comedy goldmine is there. But please, Disney, even though you're writing for a younger audience, don't treat kids like morons and don't make them think this is what the gaming/esports subculture is really like.
Just watched the first episode. definitely on my top five favorite shows!
Garbage Not For Gamers
They think it's for gamers just because they have xbox controllers and call people noobs. The characters are bland and the overall ideas ridiculous for a Disney show
