The Halcyon

Lord Hamilton returns to the hotel, just as a scandal threatens to engulf it. A mysterious American guest arrives, and Garland must reckon with unwanted visitors. Freddie returns to the hotel, with a surprise for Emma.

The hotel suffers the aftershocks of change. Lady Hamilton and Garland go to war – but this may be the least of his troubles. Freddie must face up to his responsibilities while Emma and Betsey hit the town.

Upon the fall of France, guests flood into the hotel, including one who catches Lady Hamilton’s eye. When Max faces hostility from the staff, Emma goes out on a limb to defend him…and immediately regrets it.

War drawers closer. Joe is offered the opportunity of a lifetime – but finds himself unexpectedly torn. Betsey’s mother comes for a surprise stay, leaving Sonny unsettled. Freddie experiences the realities of the skies for the first time.

The Halcyon struggles on at The Blitz rages, and our guests experience lockdown: Joe and Emma outside the hotel, and the guests in the basement. Lucian and Lady Hamilton get close, and Toby confronts his confusion. Has anybody seen Sonny and Betsey?

The Halcyon recovers from tragedy. Adil must deal with a terrible secret. The hotel comes under terrible pressure from the police. As Emma and Joe edge closer together, Freddie returns.
