This is a fantastic show. I admire the ingenuity of the producers and writers to take the Danish format and make it their own! This is truly original, and I love how it evokes emotion in a way other shows don't. I'm at the edge of my seat waiting to see what happens next, and I'm ready with my tissues too. There's a fragility to life that we often gloss over...."oh, someone died? Ok, let's move on." Not with this show.
In real life when some dies, whether it involves murder or not, there are people left in the aftermath. I think most people can relate to this, and I appreciate this show's perspective.
Way to go Veena Sud, Kristen Campo, and everyone involved!

Although the story slowly builds you'll soon find yourself engrossed in the plot. The last few moments of the pilot were amazing. This show is smart and definitely worth your time.
Another winner for AMC in the style of Breaking Bad and Mad Men. Great cinematography, acting, and story.
