Strikingly cinematic with an impressive international cast, Season 2 merges the myths and legends of classical Greek literature to create a unique and intriguing blend of high fantasy drama and gripping action adventure. The time has come for Jason to fulfill his destiny - or Atlantis will be lost beneath the waves forever. A year has passed and much has changed. The kingdom stands on the brink of collapse and the struggle for power is both bloody and brutal. With the future looking bleak, Ariadne turns to her most trusted friends for support and so Jason, Hercules and Pythagoras are thrust to the very heart of politics and power in the city.

Potential for adventure, fun, and humor still there

A year is a big jump, but it is nice to see some of the ‘Addy’ humor again. I am interested in seeing how ‘Jason and the Argonauts’ plays out. I just hope the writing improves. The dialogue seems a bit on the ‘lame’ side. It seems there is too much that happens too fast to have such deep emotions (there is a lot of crying). The death of Ariadne’s father seem to leave a real gap between season 1 and 2. I personally watch a show called ‘Atlantis’ to see my imagination play out. Let’s have fun with that. Same with Terranova…great idea, but the story of father/son tribulations isn’t the reason I watched the show…I watched it because the imagination can be explored. I am afraid Atlantis will end up like Stargate Universe…too serious, dark, and end with only 2 season. I hope Atlantis Season 2 has more adventure, fun, humor, and the like.

Jason and the gang are back!

A wonderful program that the whole family can enjoy watching together. Way to go BBC
