Such a great show.
About as detailed as it gets for a documentary. Lots of good information.
Sure takes me back to childhood....
This documentary is GREAT!!! I was so fascinated with Patty's story when I was a kid, and now it's become crystal clear to me why. This really does give a great overview of what she went through, how she reacted to it, and how the outcome affected her life. Bless Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton for what they both did for her. Nobody should have to endure what Hearst did and then be expected to come out of it unchanged and smelling like a rose. It seems that she has had a pretty great life after all of this was behind her--good for her. So glad for all the details in here that I never knew about.
excellent gripping tale of the times
This was an extremely well-done doc on a crazy time in America and the craziest of stories. CNN gets this one right, both in focus and the quality and variety of perspectives it shows. I think there is a lesson here that relates to our times: in America, you can be anything you want if you have the resources and the pizzazz. In that way, Hearst is not so different than DJT. But, make up your own mind.
