Description

We're heading to the Mile High City where our 7 strangers will not only discover a Rocky Mountain high in the trendy nightlife scene, but will work as Outward Bound counselors for kids who were affected by Hurricane Katrina. Get ready for a season packed full of adventure as The Real World reaches new heights, literally, as the roommates scale mountains and learn how to live in the wilderness. However, the true test of their survival skills will come back in the house as hasty hook-ups and deep-rooted conflicts make living together a challenge of sometimes epic proportions. O ya, the "real world"

What is real about this show besides the state of todays society? Why do we watch a show called the real world when there is nothing "real" about a bunch of 20somthings getting together with no responsibilites to live in a house with unlimited booze and to have sex with each other? This show is crap just like the rest of MTV

Denver, Do We Care?

The Real World has been a staple (because MTV won't cancel it) for MTV ever since my mom gave in and decided to order (basic) cable service. I mean you can't turn on the tv and not see the show being replayed at least 10 times a day. Now the later seasons have been (uh...no comment) but the show itself has had a successful (and long) run. I love revisiting older seasons that actually put the REAL in The Real World. Like how the cast from Miami never started their business, "I'm Not Gay" Stephen (SEATTLE) b****-slapping Irene and who could forget those fabulous-looking pervs from the Las Vegas season. All of this stuff is what made the show so addictive to watch on those lonely Saturdays when a date calls and cancels on you. My personal faves are Miami, Hawaii and Back to New York (even though Coral became my favorite on the RW/RR challenges). I believe that show can go on forever (and probably will). My opinion on the last couple of seasons is they sucked. From Paris to Key West, I slowly lost interest in the show (well maybe not Philadelphia for sentimental reasons). So I'm gonna rate this seasonin Denver a "3" with the hope that it actually makes out for a good season. So watch the premiere tonight and decide for yourself.

Don't Hate on The Real World

Okay, so what if it's not really the "real world", it's still good entertainment. It's people living with strangers; the drama is what makes this a good show, and this season looks like it's gonna be intense. After just the first episode, there's already so much tension in the house and it's definitely gonna build up. I know there are some, okay a lot, of confrontations that are instigated just for ratings, but the anger, the drunkenness, its ALL real. If you're not a fan of "unrealistic" reality, sorry maybe this show isn't for you, but for people who just like drama, real or staged, this is SO your show.
