I prefer these old series to current American whodunits. There is a quality in them that American tv will always be unable to emulate...more's the pity.
I LOVE new discoveries!
From a study of Old Harrowvians and Laurence Fox's family heritage, I discovered this series. Thank goodness I did!

I shall follow up these purchases with the audiobooks as well. I encourage anyone who has a love of mystery to spend some time in the Oxford City CID with Morse and Lewis.
