I can't wait!!

This show is going to be so epic! I've been waiting for a tv show or movie adaptation for these novels forever and now that it's finally happening I'm just so excited! The cast is incredible and I can't wait to see how they bring the novel to life!

Terry.

As i have not read this book I cant say its one of the best. I liked Terry Goodkinds Wizards first rule series best. But i always had the intention to read it but never got around to it. If the show is good maybe i will look into the books. Lets just hope they dont change to much from the books like they did Terry Goodkinds "Wizards First Rule" when it came to tv. Was a little dissaponted in that.

Not perfect but still awesome!!

I first read The Elfstones of Shannara back in 1997 or so, and I continued on through dozens of other Shannara books. Approaching this TV series with an open-mind and understanding that some liberties were taken with details in order to make the book appeal to it's target audience were both paramount in me appreciating it for what it was. That being said, the scenery is gorgeous, the characters are likeable (especially Manu as Allanon!! Amazing!) and the main plot and concepts remain intact. The soundtrack is also very epic and fits very well in the saga. Looking forward to more episodes and season in the future. I really hope they go into the Heritage books; they are my favorite in the series :)
