Meet Tim: an ordinary guy who makes a habit out of misunderstanding. HBO presents Season One of this adults-only animated series about an average guy who can’t seem to catch a break. On the surface, Tim is a nice, even-keeled New Yorker who seeks success at work and happiness in his relationship with his girlfriend Amy. But in his world, the simplest day-to-day decisions always seem to get in his way—such as when Amy and her parents find him on the couch with a hooker…or when a priest asks him to object to a wedding as a gag. Filling out Tim’s life are a bizarre and unreliable cast of characters including local prostitute Debbie, Tim’s quirky boss, the boss’s obnoxious assistant Rodney and Tim’s best friend Stu.

If you like quirky humor, this is a classic! I had almost forgotten about this show and now I have decided I MUST buy it. You might want to try one episode (episode 1 is a hoot) before you buy the season but if you like that one, you will have to have them all!
Need season 2 now!
I watch Tim literally everyday. Just to smile and laugh a lot! Amazing show. Season 2 really needs to go on sale...
..am I missing something, or have our expectations been substantially lowered due to too much viewing of YouTube? I can’t fathom why HBO picked this up, or why some would compare this to Seinfeld or consider the animation “awesome”. This is the same, tired, uncomfortable white-guy “humour” that’s been rehashed hundreds of times over the past two decades, and it’s like an eight year-old got hold of a Bamboo™ tablet and cued up a bunch of coffee-house napkin doodles with some of iTunes’ most boring podcasts..of which there are many. Comparing this to the tight, spot-on writing, superb comedic timing and character development of Bob’s Burgers is absurd, as it also completely lacks the bits of positivity, warmth and unconditional love that keep things fresh and happy..this is just depressing.
