Really liked it!

I really liked the pilot and can not wait to see where the show is headed. Quirky, funny, with some real feel good moments. I think it would be a great family show, adults as well as younger people are going to like it. Finally, it seems that we are coming back to the type of shows that were wholesome, family friendly, entertaining, and worth watching!

I miss the Gilmore Girls so much and this could be my long awaited replacement!

Quite possibly the best pilot I

I am so glad that I took the time to check this out. It's amazing how little things can make or break people's opinions on things... the title and the poster alone made it seem like this was something I wouldn't be interested in. Out of boredom and desperation for entertainment, I downloaded the pilot. Simply put, I was blown away. It was unexpected in the best way possible, and every scene surprised me. It was humorous, fun, and witty, all while being driven by honesty and heart. Just when I thought I could nail the show down to a fit into a box, it would take a turn and surprise me. It has everything, but none of the elements feel at odds with each other. Not many shows can draw you in and make you so attached to its characters with a single pilot. The ending (no spoilers...) brought the sort of drama and emotional impact that comes by at least a mid-season twist, after the writers have given viewers ample time to become invested. I was truly surprised by just how invested I already was, and I didn't realize it until those last few seconds. It was just really well done. Even if the rest of the series can't live up to this good of a start, I will always recommend this pilot to people. It's just a welcomed example of how television can still get things right, and Bunheads reveals to us the kind of quality writing that we didn't even know we were missing.

As a side note, I also want to say that I never watched Gilmore Girls, so my opinion has in no way been influenced the knowledge that the shows share the same creator.
