What a joke.

Season 8 of Dexter felt like a filler season. There was no steady plot progression, very little character development and more importantly it was not Dexter. The entire season felt wasted. At no point did it feel like it was building up to the finale of the entire series and not to mention the absolutely ridiculous finale. As a huge fan of the show, I was extremely disappointed by this show and felt betrayed as a fan after watching the horrendous series finale that does not do the show justice at all.

Waste

I had to force myself to watch every episode. What a terrible way to end a series that started out so great.

Sad Sad Season.

I love the series. I obsessively watched episode after episode, hours at a time. Each season was amazing, offering a different theme yet staying true to dexter’s self. Season 8 almost ruined it all for me. It sheds a new light on Dexter, his “code” doesn’t apply, and there were too many characters/situations added leading to several dead ends and plot holes. If I could un-see this season, I would. I could live happily knowing season 7 was then end.
