The hilarious slapstick antics of Larry, Moe, and Curly are back in digitally remastered versions of the original The Three Stooges. This collection contains the first 19 shorts spanning the years of 1934-1936 re-packaged into half-hour episodes with a splashy new opening, wrap-arounds, and witty, hip interstitials offering trivia and questions for some insightful tidbits on the comedy trio.

Customer Reviews

Well, I had read some reviews previously in reference to the Stooges, this set in particular, in that there were commercials interrupting the flow of the comedies, so I decided against buying. Came back a couple of weeks ago, and read another review stating that the commercials were gone, and no other problems with the flow of the comedies. I purchased these and they are terrific. Whatever, ITUNES was smart in re-doing them without the "commercials". They are some of the best comedies ever made. Love or hate the Stooges, they are just about the best slapstick comedians around. There are 19 comedies, which took a while to download, but they are worth every penny. Very good resolution, and sound quality. These are the first set, 1934-36, which includes the inaugural "Woman Haters", which was filmed entirely in song. A kind of quirky one, but fun to watch as the Stooges start to form their style. Other really good ones in this set are "Disorder in the Court" Judge to Curly, "Take the stand", Curly picks up the chair, "I got it now what do I do with it?"; also Three Little Beers, Movie Maniacs, Pardon my Scotch, and my personal favorite A Pain in the Pullman. Grab some popcorn and settle back and prepare to laugh yourself silly. These guys were just the best. Won't see the likes of them again. Enjoy!!

Great show, no commercials

I bought the season and it was great. And there were no commercials or anything like that. Just the episode. Its a great deal when you buy the season. I definately recommend it.

Nyuk! Nyuk! Nyuk!

Those three knuckleheads are FINALLY on iTunes. Now I can happily say I'm pleased with iTunes.
