Right when I just started to like the old cast of American top gear they bring out new people. I tried to watch the first episode and could get passed the people.
Love the show
To me Top Gear UK peaked at Clarkson and afterward was never the same struggled with formats and I could not bring myself to watch the newest foreigner UK one. Top Gear US was alright with Tanner Foust who was great but Ferrarro was unpleasant in my view and the hosts didn’t have amicable chemistry.
This newest invention of Top Gear America is absolutely fabulous. The hosts have chemistry and charisma. It’s great to have a Brit on Top Gear since it’s a UK show, a Clint Eastwood style American host, and Antron Brown I was skepticle at first since he seemed to be the Richard Hammond hire but he has such a great character charisma and is a racing pro and is definitely Richard Hammond worthy.
The hosts really bonded in the first 3 episodes and the format of the show with the guests driving in for the interview and straight to the track is interesting innovation not to mention it’s an actual race track instead of an air strip.
For once I can say that the American Top Gear is legitimately better than the British Top Gear although and the first time I’ve not watched the British version as a matter of preference.
What is this?
... I’d call it a train wreck, but that would imply something interesting to watch.
