United States of Tara stars Academy Award nominee Toni Collette, recent Emmy winner for Best Actress in a Comedy Series and Golden Globe nominee for her role as Tara, a woman who juggles being a suburban wife, mother and sister while also having DID (dissociative identity disorder), formerly known as multiple personality disorder. This season starts with a bang — literally. Just as Tara decides to move on from her past, a sudden neighborhood incident opens the door to her family’s shocking secrets. Her alters — some returning and some new — will help unravel the mysteries while simultaneously infusing their own chaos into the mix. Meanwhile, the rest of Tara’s family explores their own identities as Max hits a boiling point; Marshall questions his sexuality; Kate takes on an online fantasy persona; and Charmaine finds herself in a complicated love triangle.

United States of Tara deserves a praise. exellent story line, full of rich details and wonderful characters; Toni Collette delivers good acting and makes this show something worth watching.
This show rocks!
Toni Colette is amazing with her portrayal of all her different personalities. It has a great story and a lot of lovable characters. Can't wait for season 3!
Not nearly as good as the first season...
Aweful.... Definitely a reason why it went STRAIGHT to on demand instead of playing out weekly.. Story was terrible, new personalities were "ok" at best.. Toni Collette did great once again but the story didn't seem like it was based around her at all, this season was all about the lame issues that the rest of the family has.. Left it open for a third season of course at the end but I doubt Spielberg will waste his money for a third season.. Guarantee you they lost a lot on this show, especially this season.... Very disappointing.
