From writer/creator Tim Kring (Heroes) and executive producers Peter Chernin (Terra Nova) and Katherine Pope (Terra Nova) comes Touch, a preternatural drama in which science and spirituality intersect with the hopeful premise that we are all interconnected, tied in invisible ways to those whose lives we are destined to alter and impact. Martin Bohm (Kiefer Sutherland), a widower and single father, is haunted by an inability to connect to his mute, severely autistic 11-year-old son, Jake. But everything changes when Martin discovers that Jake possesses a gift of staggering genius - the ability to see things that no one else can, the patterns that connect everything. Jake is indeed communicating after all. But it's not with words, it's with numbers. Martin meets Arthur Teller (Danny Glover), a professor and an expert on children who possess special gifts when it comes to numbers. Now it's up to Martin to decipher the meaning and connect the numbers to the cast of characters whose lives they affect.

Very intriguing!

Just downloaded the free pilot episode and watched it. I enjoyed it. It's a very intriguing show…..the premise that seemingly random people all over the globe are somehow linked with each other through complex play of numbers…. that there is actually an order within what appears to be a chaos….. Wow. Looks like Jack Bauer will be saving the world once again.

loved it!

Intriguing concept, fascinating characters and top-notch acting. Kiefer Sutherland is wonderful as Martin Bohm - he manages to really make you feel for him and his situation. He's trying hard to be the father that Jake deserves and yet he feels like he's failing at every turn. Sutherland managed to make me cry for his character. David Mazouz as Jake is a nice surprise - such a talented young man and so very capable of communication and expression without ever saying a word. The big reveal at the end, where you see how all these characters are connected by their 'red thread' was chilling. Wonderful show, I hope they can keep the episodes as compelling as this one.

One of a kind

I watched this premiere last night, it was mind blowing. I've seen several show that try to capture this element but this was brilliant and I just couldn't get enough.
