Inside the computer world of the grid, a young program named Beck becomes the unlikely leader of a revolution against a corrupt regime. His mission is to free his home and liberate his friends from the oppressive reign of the villainous Clu and his evil henchman, General Tesler. In this quest, Beck is recruited and trained by Tron – the greatest warrior the grid has ever known. Tron not only teaches Beck the fighting skills he will need to challenge this brutal military operation, but he also becomes a mentor and father figure to Beck as he grows beyond his youthful, impulsive nature into a courageous, powerful leader who can inspire an uprising.

The animation is pretty dumb compared to motor city.
A show with engaging characters and a plot that keeps you interested at every turn! I'm buying the season pass.. Thank You Disney, for giving us more TRON!!
Very Promising Beginning
As a fan of the original Tron and Tron Legacy it's nice to finally see the world of Tron being expanded to other venues.
Hopefully this series will have the same affect STAR WARS: CLONE WARS will have, in that it attracts kids with it's action and characters
and for adults the story line will be multi layered so it will please fans and non fans alike.
The animation style is refreshing as opposed to a lot of kids animation today(adventure time, etc.) It's sleek, and flashy very remeniscent of AEON FLUX or Phantom 2040 or the 2000x SPIDER-MAN series. The music is also top notch, a good blend of themes from Daft Punk's T:L score and new material(if I remember correctly the composer worked with Daft Punk on the T:L score). Here's hoping they release the score for purchase.
All in all, I really hope this show does well. Tron has had such a tough road from the first movie to it's sequel 28 years later. I was satisfied with Tron:Legacy, I felt it was a sufficient it not superior sequel to the original. I never got a gauge if it was a hit with the kids though. Let's face it, these days studios/companies deem something as a success if kids buy the action figures(And I do hope this show spawns a line of action figures, cause I really dig the character designs, especially Original Tron).
I will definately be tuning in for all 10 episodes of this series. I hope ratings are good enough to order a second season.
It's a tough sell, but with the right balance of action and solid stories, this show does have the makings of being a success!
Long live Tron!
