Description

It’s been a year since we saw Walden Schmidt (Ashton Kutcher), a lovelorn Internet billionaire, attempt to drown himself in the ocean after his wife kicked him out. He stumbled into the Malibu beach house where tightly-wound chiropractor Alan Harper (Jon Cryer) and his slacker teenage son, Jake (Angus T. Jones), had been living with Alan’s brother for the past eight years before his untimely passing. Walden bought the house and invited Alan to remain there, saving Alan from having to move in with his mother. Walden asked Berta (Conchata Ferrell), who had been working in the household, to stay as well. Despite his unsuccessful history with women, Alan found himself mentoring Walden. Walden, Alan and Jake adjusted to their new living arrangement and created a surrogate family unit to make each a better man … or at least try.

Unexpectedly Amazing!

This show has always been great! Now that Charlie Sheen has moved on and Ashton Kutcher now plays the role of the billionaire bachelor who is a technology wiz as he creates businesses worth billions of dollars, all the while Alan (Jon Cryer) has still somehow managed to keep his leech-sucking ways and still lives with Walden (Ashton Kutcher) in the Malibu mansion on the ocean (which has been remodeled to match Walden's technological type of mind). Walden has a girlfriend who is not keen on Alan living with Walden and really doesn't understand why Walden would let Alan stay there in the first place. We all know how Alan is though and will weasel his way in to staying in the house the best way he knows how, and that's basically by any means necessary. It's a constant tug-of-war in the household these days because Alan is living with Walden which puts stress on his French girlfriend, and also because Walden is creating a new company for his "Electronic Suitcase" application in which Walden helped code the program along with his ex-wife Bridget, who is also causing ripples in the waves with Walden's new relationship, which has lasted now for a number of months, compared to that of his ex-wife whom she met in high-school, and they were married something like 12 years I believe. I personally like the show before when it was based more on Charlie's sexual escapades, but now it is more focused on new technology. And I personally am also a technology focused person who can think of nothing else (well, almost nothing else). In that aspect of the show, it has now a newer and improved baseline for the show. It is always going to have sexual content in there, but now it is not focused generally on sexual situations and so forth. This is good for the show making it more of a daytime family-oriented type of show versus a nighttime adult show.

The show is great. One of my favorites of all time. Especially now since Ashton Kutcher is the main star of the show and although Charlie Sheen is always a star no matter where he is or what he is doing, this new combination of characters and the direction in which the show is heading is even better than it was before. Here is to looking at another decade of shows. Cheers to "Two and a Half Men". Bravo!

This is the End

Charlie Sheen did a great job on this show and then Ashton took over, but, I have a good feeling this will be the end of Two and a Half Men. I was surprised that there"ll be a 10th season! Surprised, but glad though.

Waiting for some good laughter.

Finally the next season is back. Looking for the classic comedy again with a touch of the new guy. Or gradually becoming old.
