Description

Pour one last round of wine-soaked fun as the hit comedy Cougar Town returns for its sixth and final season. Courteney Cox, Christa Miller, Busy Philipps, Dan Byrd, Ian Gomez and Josh Hopkins star as a tight-knit group of friends who keep things funny while supporting each other through the challenges and pitfalls of life – with a little dysfunction and a lot of wine. At the end of last season, Laurie and Travis discovered that they were going to have a baby. Now they try to adjust to their new role as first-time parents, and Jules settles in to being a grandmother. Meanwhile, Andy unexpectedly loses his job and best friend, leaving him to figure out how to move forward. Ellie goes back to work and proves she hasn’t lost her ruthless lawyer skills. And Tom continues his quest for acceptance.

Customer Reviews

I have never seen the appeal, or redeeming factors.

Maybe it is my age. Maybe it is my gender. Possibly my sense of humor, level of maturity, level of intellect, political beliefs, religious beliefs, my views of humanity, or just something that I am incapable of understanding that has turned me off to this show as many times as I was willing to give it a chance. I don’t know, but what I have gathered in my interactions with others is that you either love it, or you find no redeeming qualities in it. I don’t laugh, I don’t giggle, I find no charm. And the thing is that I liked this show’s creator’s previous projects, “Spin City,” and “Scrubs,” although both of those shows withered with age. I still believe as “Scrubs” lost its humor, and this show emerged, almost from its ashes, that this show carried on what humor was broken and lost. So for me, I find glee in knowing that this show is finally coming to the end. I just hope the “creative” (eh?…) minds behind it have seen there semi-success with this show (2 channels over 6 seasons) and will live out their life enjoying the money they earned and not returning to tv. And for all of you out there that blame the name of the show, “Cougar Town,” on the wishy-washy limited success of the show, in the end, I think that name holds very little to no actual weight in its defense. But I will agree with you, it was a terrible name for a television.

Amazing show

I love this show. Literally can't control my tears watching the series finale. What an ending. I'll miss you, cougar town.
