Selfish eight year old Shauna doesn’t like to share, especially with her five year old sister Katie. Unable to share even her most neglected toys with her sister, Shauna greedily guards all of her possessions. Shauna is a prime target for a lesson in sharing, and it comes in the form of a doll delivered mysteriously to the door one day.

When Eight-year-old Mary Anne moves to a new neighborhood, she meets two boys who don’t know the meaning of kindness. Teenagers Leo and Jamie find great joy in teasing the new girl instead of making her feel welcome.

Richard and his younger brother Stephen, are willing to try anything to design the winning Science Fair project. When their latest experiment goes awry, the boys decide to get rid of the barrel of experiments past, however the Hazardous Waste Depot is clear on the other side of town. Instead of wasting valuable experimental time, the boys decide to dispose of their toxic waste in the nearby bog.

Randall loves to invent things, even if it means destroying other people’s belongings. His self imposed title as “Master of all Mechanical Things”, quickly gets forgotten as the appliances he’s rigged up suddenly turn on him.

Vincent will stop at nothing to win. He will even go as far as tricking his competitors so he will represent the ski team in the big race. When the boys are swapping ghost stories, Vincent embellishes a story about a Mountain Spirit in order to psyche out Tom, his main competition. The story is successful in spooking Tom out, and Vincent qualifies for the big race. Unbeknownst to him however, the spirit really does exist and comes to punish Vincent for his deceptive ways.

Best friends Derek and Rob love new things. They’ll go to any means to get them, even stealing! When the boys pay a visit to Rodman’s Department Store, they notice that Mr. Rodman is still set in his old ways and has yet to install a security system. Nothing fazes these trouble makers, that is until they get locked in the store over night.
