Description

Kristen Bell (Forgetting Sarah Marshall) stars as the title character in this film noir–ish series. Veronica used to be one of the popular girls, walking the halls of Neptune High with the rest of the "beautiful people." But it all came crashing down when her best friend, Lilly, was murdered. Veronica's father, Keith (Just Shoot Me's Enrico Colantoni), then sheriff, was removed from office for naming Lilly's rich father as the lead suspect, and Veronica was ostracized by her friends, including her boyfriend, Duncan Kane (Teddy Dunn) — Lilly's brother. Veronica must negotiate high school like any average teenage girl and she bravely maneuvers through classes, joined by fellow outcast Wallace Fennel (Percy Daggs III). At night, Veronica assists her father's private investigator business, all the while searching for evidence to clear her father's name and regain her status at school — but what she finds may tear the town of Neptune apart. Jason Dohring and Francis Capra also star.

Thank You iTunes!

i am the number one Veronica Mars fan and i am beyond happy right now. thank gosh itunes finally had the decency to respect the first Veronica Mars season and make it available. now they have to get the second season! ( which was the best!) i am so upset that this show is not running anymore!!!! they really should make a movie!

One of the best shows on television

This was one of the best shows on television, oddly reminiscent of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (especially in season 1). I was heartbroken that this got cancelled in the first year of the CW. It was unfortunately replaced with 'Farmer Wants A Wife' a reality show that was so dumb it didn't last past the first two episodes. I wish that they would have held onto this one since it had so much potential in future seasons. There's still hope of a jump to the big screen in the form of a movie that will hopefully tie up loose ends and wrap up storylines of characters I really grew to love.

How about Gilmore Girls too?

I would love for iTunes to offer Gilmore Girls. Those two were the CW's best shows! Let's hope one day maybe...
