Now, she helps women and children find safe passage out of polygamy when they decide to leave or, worse, are expelled from their communities. Aneesa was born and raised as a Baptist in Queens, NY, until she found Islam during her time at Hunter College. Michelle runs a safe house for polygamy's forgotten young men, known as the 'Lost Boys'. Banished from their homes for transgressions including movie-watching and talking to girls, these boys have been left to fend for themselves. Women of Erotica

The adult film industry… where sex sells, and nothing is off limits. Whether an agent, a director, or the next big star, these four women are blazing their own trails to the top of the adult film industry. Skye Blue has directed hundreds of films over almost two decades and is respected by performers throughout the industry. But Skye hasn't always been on top. At age 14, after getting kicked out of high school and sent off to boarding school, she ran away and found herself living on the streets as a child prostitute. Over the next fifteen years, she floated from job to job, industry to industry, until she ended up winning a burlesque dance competition. Her adult entertainment career snowballed after that: a headlining performer around the country, a famous actress known for her voluptuousness, and eventually a sought after director. Shy Love was born and raised in Germany and moved to the states at age 8. She attended college in Florida where she received a Bachelor's degree in accounting and eventually two Master Degrees in related fields. Soon after settling into a white picket fence existence, Shy grew tired of normalcy and decided to go on a Playboy centerfold test shoot. There, she caught the exhibitionist bug, and "Shy Love" was born. She's worked consistently in films ever since. As an up and coming adult performer, 21-year-old Kenzi Marie is still somewhat new to the adult film industry. She has only been in the business for a little over a year, and is already in the process of signing a one-year, $100,000 contract as a performer for an Internet-based interactive adult entertainment company. Gianna Lynn appears to be a typical college student, balancing both a full course load and job. But when school is out, Gianna is one of the hottest actresses on the porn scene. Gianna planned to marry and live happily ever after. But when a co-worker gave her the card of an adult film producer, Gianna couldn't refuse.

    Groupies

There's nothing like music to stir the body, the mind, and the soul. But for some women, listening to music isn't enough. And as long as there have been musicians, there have been women that will do anything to be with them. These four women embrace their role as rock and roll groupies. Growing up in a small town in Massachusetts, Lexa Vonn - like so many other young girls - had dreams of Hollywood stardom. So she hopped a bus to the West Coast in hopes of hitting it big in the music industry. After struggling for money and sleeping on the streets, she recruited three girls from the local Hollywood club scene, and formed a social clique called "The Plastics." The Plastics hit up local shows to offer bands everything from flyer distribution, promotions and publicity, to go-go dancing, modeling services, and personal relationships. Patti Johnsen is a stay-at-home mom in Denver, Colorado. But before she settled down to normal family life, Patti Johnsen was a heavy metal groupie and a queen of the 1980s LA scene. In Patti's opinion, you never stop being a groupie. For the most part, Pamela Des Barres grew up like any other suburban kid in the Valley. Then she heard the Beatles. Not content with mere fandom, Pamela wanted to find a way into the rock 'n' roll lifestyle. Through a friend from her high school, she met the local musician Don Van Vliet, who introduced her to some friends of his. These friends would turn out to be the Rolling Stones and, just like that, a super-groupie was born. Danni and Dollie, twin sisters in their early twenties, have become fixtures in the Phoenix music scene. The two are leading members of a new generation of Groupies who are trying to revive the style, energy, and culture of rock's golden age. Together with their friend and roommate Penny, they host nightly jam sessions and feature local rock bands. It's a way to highlight local bands they think have a shot at stardom, while contributing proceeds to breast cancer research.

Meet three remarkable women who survived life-threatening hostage ordeals. Jackie Pflug was a 30-year old teacher working in Cairo when a routine flight home from Athens in November of 1985 plunged her into a deadly hijacking. Shot in the head at point blank range, Jackie managed to overcome extraordinary disabilities to live a rich and joyful life. Gracia Burnham and her husband, Martin, were missionaries in the Philippines when, in May of 2001, an overnight stay at a luxury resort turned into a kidnapping nightmare. For over a year, they were hostages of murderous Islamic terrorists…and only Gracia would get out of it alive. Corrections Officer Lois Fraley was taken captive in 2004 by two vicious inmates trying to escape from an Arizona State Prison and held for 15 days before finally being released. Former FBI Chief Hostage Negotiator Gary Noesner is the episode’s expert, explaining why these situations were so difficult to resolve.

    Loved & Controlled

Meet two women who tried to leave their controlling husbands, and wound up paying dearly for it. Amy Jones married her high school boyfriend, Chris Rezos. Over time, Chris became increasingly controlling, leading Amy to ask for a divorce. Around this time, Chris attacked Amy, bludgeoning her with a flashlight and attempting to choke and drown her. She survived. Three weeks later, while out of jail on bond, Chris hid in Amy's car and shot her twice in the head. Miraculously, she survived again. Amy is now a domestic violence spokeswoman. After Jessica Lenahan’s emotionally abusive former husband, Simon, tried to hang himself in front of their children, Jessica decided to leave him. Despite a restraining order against him, Simon picked up their three daughters without permission. Jessica called the police several times over the next ten hours to beg them to find her girls, but the police declined. At 3:20 AM, Simon drove to the police station and began to shoot into the building with a semiautomatic gun. Police returned fire, and killed Simon. When they looked into his car they found the bodies of all three daughters. Simon had shot each of them in the head. Believing that the police department acted negligently, Jessica brought her case to the U.S Supreme Court for the right to sue for not enforcing the restraining order, but she was denied. She is now arguing her case in front of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights. And, Drew Peterson has been making headlines since October 2007, when his fourth wife, Stacy, disappeared. Her disappearance led investigators to re-open the case of Peterson’s ex-wife Kathleen Savio, who was found dead in her bathtub in 2004. Although the death was initially ruled an accident, a second autopsy revealed it to be a homicide. Peterson has now been charged with her murder. Anna Doman and Cassandra Cales, Kathleen and Stacy’s sisters, tell us about their sister and what life with Drew Peterson was like.
