Elizabeth Mitchell (Lost) stars in this reimagining of the hit miniseries. “Visitors” appear in every major city, promoting a message of peace . . . but are they a threat to our existence? As the world becomes fascinated with the V's, FBI Counter Terrorist Agent Erica Evans (Mitchell) discovers a secret that may threaten the lives of everyone close to her, including her teenage son, Tyler (Logan Huffman), who sees the V's as a new chance for mankind. For Chad Decker (Scott Wolf), a career-hungry news anchor, his exclusive interviews with the leader of the V's, Anna (Morena Baccarin), are vital to his dominating the airwaves. Father Jack (Joel Gretsch), a priest questioning his faith, is unsure about the V's. Seeking answers outside the church, he discovers there are other dissidents, like Ryan Nichols (Morris Chestnut), who is faced with his own life-altering decision. Never has there been more at stake. From Scott Peters (The 4400), V also stars Lourdes Benedicto and Laura Vandervoort.

While many of my generation tend to remember the often-campy sci-fi series from the 80's, this new re-imagining of the series V is a blend of modern special effects, excellent (and creepy) performances by our "visitor friends" and a decent roll-out of plot that will draw many who may not have even seen the original.
The only major criticism that I have is that the show could really have used a two-hour pilot that built the Visitors up a little more subtly than what we saw. While the introduction of alien "cells" at work around the world and the mysterious pasts of a few of our characters has had a reveal or two that promises to back-fill this element of the plot, the jury is still out on whether they make good on development. From what I've seen, I have high hopes, to say the least.
All I can say is that we're out of the gate and running in a spectacular way! Enjoy!

LOVE THE SHOW....Hopefully it stays around for a while:)
