Description
The FUJIFILM Camera Remote is an application provided by FUJIFILM that can operate wireless-equipped digital cameras by remote control to shoot images and to view images and movies in the camera and to transfer them to smartphones or tablets. And it also supports the cameras that offers Bluetooth® capability. Pair it with your smartphones or tablet devices, it synchronizes "date and time" and/or "location information" of your smartphone or tablet devices with the cameras that offers Bluetooth® capability. In advanced of shooting, to easily transfer pictures you have taken to the smartphones or tablet device via this application. Bluetooth wireless remote shutter release can be used for cameras that offers Bluetooth® capability. In addition, firmware update is now supported from your smartphone or tablet devices via Bluetooth without the need of a SD memory card.

Disconnect during transfer
This app is so buggy. I tried transferring 60 photos from my camera, and it completely disconnects halfway through the transfer.
Terrible connectivity on x100v and ios 14
I’ve been having lots of issues with connectivity on ios 14 on iphone and ipad pro. It appears to be a common issue where the camera just won’t connect to the phone even if a paired conection has been made. Apparently it’s been a consistent issue for ages. Such a shame, a potentially great app marred by basic issues that don’t seem to be addressed. Makes it unusable for professional workflows in the field if you quickly need to get images off the camera. Hope they fix it
Only use IF you want to transfer images
This app should be renamed Fujifilm image transfer. It works well, apart from being a really slow process to connect each time (unlike Canon who got it right, connects seemlessly without you doing much).
The saddest part is that this app has not changed in the last 7 years. It had these shortcoming more than 7 years ago, it still has them.
The only updates this app receives is compatibility with new model releases or if firmware updates on those bodies require a connection update with this app.
I believe there is a thirdparty app that is pricey, but actually works.
