Scroll option
I would like to suggest for a scroll option to be introduced for reading I think it would be highly appreciated by readers
Lacking basic functionality
Unfortunately, highlighting in the app is not straightforward, requiring 3 steps! Other readings apps like Kindle or iBooks do this elegantly and simply, as it is an essential feature of reading. Moreover, there is no feature to jump back to the last page, and overall navigating is more difficult than Kindle. The app has the perks of being part of the google suit (e.g. using google translate) and the view features are decent.
Great app destroying itself with aggressive marketing!
At the end of your book your reading pleasure is destroyed by super annoying pop-ups suggesting what your next read should be. It would be ok
If it happens on your last page, but no, from about 25% before the end of the book you are tortured with these annoying incessant suggestions with no way of having a choice. If I knew they were this demanding I would never have invested in a Google Play Books library. There are enough other options available.
