iTrip Issue

When playing music through the iTrip it plays fine up until my iPhone 4 a screen blacks out like it normally does, after which the music stops playing. I wonder if they ever properly tested the new software.
Not Working

Have both a grioffin iTrip and Roadtrip...does not work on any of them. WHats more, when I plug either of the into my iPhone 3G, it says that its not a supported device. They do work though.
