At Mugg and Bean gateway , received the most excellent service at 7pm in need of a slice of cake after a busy day with all other places being closed.
Excellent service and hospitality by waitress named Gcina!
Definitely highly recommend!

This app makes it seem like you can get a free coffee after downloading the app. This is technically true, but very sneaky. You won’t get a complimentary coffee upon your first visit, instead you will start earning loyalty points towards a free coffee. Only after purchasing approximately 7 coffees, will you have earned the amount of ‘beans’ needed for a complimentary coffee. Loyalty programs are great, but this is a very deceptive way to lure someone into one. 1star from me and I’ll not be using the app thank you. Lastly, this is a review on the app, not the restaurant chain. Mugg and Bean as a restaurant is great

We haven’t supported Mugg & Bean for several years due to the lack of quality control and absent minded staff (Blue Route Mall) At some point we must have signed up for this app which now turns out to be a deeply regrettable decision. Even after deleting the app, we receive text messages at 02:38 in the morning. Emails to their head office during the past month haven’t stopped this from happening. They are also potentially selling your details to third party marketing companies. Beware.
