Namola is an app that allows you to alert your nearest police officers when you need assistance.
Namola now works in the whole of Gauteng! (We are working hard to bring Namola everywhere in South Africa.)
How does it work?
Step 1 – Witness crime
Step 2 – Open Namola app
Step 3 – Request Assistance
Step 4 – Nearest vehicles dispatched
Press and hold "Request Assistance" in an emergency. We encourage testing, but please answer the phone after a test to avoid unnecessary dispatching.

What's New in Version 1.2
Namola now works across the whole of Gauteng!
To prevent accidental alerts, the "Request Assistance" button now needs to be held for a few seconds.
This update includes bug fixes and performance improvements, including:
* #MakeSAsafe news can be accessed from the menu after sign-up
* Outside of Namola coverage areas, assistance can be requested through 10111.
