Poor service

Poor service, I wouldn’t use it again. Frustrating, especially having placed an order. Unlike Takealot where they communicate expected delivery which is quite far, you know at least to expect delays. With One Cart you check out today and they immediately commits to the next day for delivery. So they after our money rather than good service. I really like supporting Start-ups but I’m really disappointed. Still waiting on my order 4 days later. And the timeline is not amended on app. The date and time it shows for delivery is still the same, and that date has passed already.

Instant Regrets: Don’t recommend

It’s my first time using this service and I am appalled by the quality of service and feel it’s practically a scam.

In summary: I placed the order for a specific time interval and was present at my place. 30 minutes into the delivery interval, the order was sent back to the store and stated that ‘customer was unavailable’. No one contacted me to inform me that the driver had arrived. They don’t send you the driver’s contact either so there is no way of getting ahold of them en-route. They stated that he could not contact me because my details are not appearing on their system yet I specifically remember even adding an alternative number for the order. Welp. The nail to the coffin was when they informed me that they would not refund me in full because the driver arrived and didn’t find me there. I was not contacted about a delivery. I saw no driver. I could not contact him and their system doesn’t allow customers and delivery drivers to get in contact during the delivery via chat like other delivery services (Mr. D, Uber, even Debonairs!) yet it’s the customers fault. I’m disgusted by this and this was the first and last time I’ll ever use or interact with them. I had just sprained my ankle and now feel like I should have limped my way to the shop in pain than use this service.

Beware! App mal-functioning and no service

No service - I would give 9 stars if possible. My shopping did never arrive! They only confirmed a slot 2 days later instead of same day already when paying- then today the time slot was pushed out again and again in the app since the morning and always showed a new time period. After I complained via email - where I just received ticket numbers - the personal shopper sent a WhatsApp and wrote that she could not do shopping but would do it the next day. I refused this. I asked for refund and I could see that my shopping order was cancelled as out of stock items and the amount appeared in the e-wallet. Then I gave my banking details on the website, it showed that I would receive a refund on my bank account. Another hour later I received a Facebook message asking if I would like a refund, which I confirmed. And funny enough one hour later the app shows that now my shopping is on the way, but the tracking does not work. And I do not need the items anymore! Unfortunately no answers anymore neither on Facebook and never on Twitter, which the Help button on the app refers to... I just hope I get my refund otherwise I will lay charges!
