Love it!
I love Skillshare as a site overall and the app is pretty good too! It’s truly improving my life everyday. As for the website, I find it odd that you can not use the space bar to pause and play videos. I haven’t tested it on other browsers so maybe it’s just that. As for the app, the feature to save a class to a specific list is missing. I can view my class lists that I’ve created on desktop, but when I save a class, it only saves to “my classes” rather than giving me the option to save it to one of my lists. Finally, I’d like the ability to download individual episodes/chapters within a class rather than only being able to download the whole class. Would save me a great deal of time and storage space.
Wonderful learning platform
I’ve been a subscriber to Skillshare for more than three years, I’ve done literally hundreds of classes in so many different subjects, languages, painting, Adobe products, computer skills and I feel as well f it’s kept me growing. Each class is done at whatever pace I feel like, I often watch through the whole class, almost like a movie, then if it touches a chord in me, I return to it and follow little by little, trying the exercises and projects. It’s great because no one bothers you for your homework or assignments like in a live class, so you can get an overview of something and decide whether or not you wish to spend more time on it.

My initial review: I truly appreciate having access to such a great platform like Skillshare to learn various art techniques from other artists. I have learned a lot for which I am extremely grateful for. Skillshare is affordable which I highly appreciate. Thank you to the staff at Skillshare and all the online teachers sharing their knowledge.
My updated review: I still love and appreciate both Skillshare and the Skillshare app. I love it when I am in logged into the platform. Life is however been very distracting so I now make an artist date with myself and spend time on Skillshare. Just logged out of Netflix (distraction) and into Skillshare (education). I also believe in the 10,000 hours concept. I now decided to build art exercises into my day.
It seemed that Skillshare filtered out less quality classes which is great. Please keep up the good work Skillshare community.
