A music lovers dream
Pure simplicity coupled with every possible feature a true passionate music lover could look for in a streaming service. Unmatched music libraries in combination with the ability to stream music at the highest possible master level that through the right headphones allows for each and every single instrument and beat to be heard. This is just the joys of Tidal on a basic level - never mind the additional exclusive video content, live shows and abundance of add ins thrown in for a price that is 100 percent value for money. Keep it up Tidal.
The best sound on the worst app
Listen, Tidal is my go-to daily driver streaming software. I don't pretend to know why, but Tidal sounds better than FLAC on my systems. I've watched all the videos about how MQA master quality is nonsense, but I've consistently managed to pick Tidal in blind tests thanks to its subtle, but meaningfully improved clarity. HOWEVER - The app is a total garbage fire. It freezes all the time, crashes, loses connection and pauses randomly. Same issues everyone has with it, yet I can't leave because when it gets down to it, it just sounds right. 5/5 for quality of music, 3/5 for app experience. 4/5 overall.
Almost unrivalled
I absolutely love tidal and evangelise the cause of high quality audio streaming and a platform that pays artists fairly. Unfortunately sometimes Tidal is a little buggy, if it were not for that there would be no better streaming service. Despite this I cannot see myself going back to poor streaming quality and a platform that disrespects artists. I’m here for the music and the people that make it.
